IT Support Engineer - 2nd Line
About the job
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance, requiring at least 5 years of continuous UK residency.
- Have 2nd-line administration experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Conditional Access, Defender, and Azure services.
- Have a proven track record working in high-security, defense, or heavily regulated environments with strict governance standards.
- Triage, manage, and resolve daily 1st-, 2nd-, and some 3rd-line support tickets, escalating high-level infrastructure issues or complex security incidents to senior staff.
- Manage user lifecycles, Conditional Access policies, role-based access controls, and group management across Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Assist the IT & InfoSec Manager with security posture management, including monitoring Microsoft Defender security alerts, enforcing Intune endpoint compliance, overseeing patch management, and supporting audit readiness.
- Onboard new starters and deliver ad hoc user training on cyber hygiene, security best practices, and daily software tool usage.
- Provide hands-on hardware setup, local network troubleshooting, and physical workspace support at the Hammersmith office.
- Experience with Google Workspace.
