About the job
- One year of experience as a Monitor Technician.
- Successful completion of a basic arrhythmia course or equivalent coursework.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- Visual color acuity appropriate to the role in specific units.
- Perform ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and remote telemetry.
- Provide registered nurses and/or clinicians with immediate notification of changes in cardiac rhythms.
- CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician) certification through CCI.
