French speaker Devialet targets CI market.

French speaker Devialet targets CI market. Devialet, the French acoustic engineering house, has announced the Devialet Phantom Ultimate CI, a new line designed specifically for the custom integration market. Available in two models, the flagship 108 dB and the compact 98 dB, Devialet Phantom Ultimate CI connects natively to Audinate Dante and Audio over IP networks. The result is uncompressed, high-definition audio with the network stability and installation speed integrators demand. "Devialet Phantom Ultimate CI is a direct response to what integrators have been asking for," said Rodrigo Arrambide, Devialet's General Manager for the Americas. "Integrators no longer have to choose between the sound our engineers are known for and the stability their projects require. With the native Dante and Audio over IP connectivity, we're bringing the full Devialet acoustic signature into a professional ecosystem, on the integrator's terms." For almost twenty years, Devialet has pursued a singular obsession: sound that is true to the artist's original intent, delivered with a physical, unmistakable presence. Devialet Phantom Ultimate CI carries that pursuit into the custom integration market, re-engineered from the network up for the first time for luxury multiroom, private home theater, and large-scale commercial installations. By replacing the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth streaming built for the home with professional wired protocols, Devialet Phantom Ultimate CI is engineered from the ground up for the network demands of the trade, without sacrificing a single one of the patented technologies for which Devialet is renowned, including ADH,New Gen hybrid amplification, SAM real-time driver protection, and HBIbass technology reaching depths of 14 Hz. The difference lies entirely in the network hardware, engineered for the demands of continuous professional use. Engineered for custom integrators, the Devialet Phantom Ultimate CI line natively integrates Audinate Dante technology, enabling the routing of uncompressed, high-definition audiostreams over a standard Ethernet network, ensuring perfect, microsecond-accurate synchronization. That wired architecture pays off on-site. Each speaker connects directly to the network switch over a standard Ethernet cable, and multiple Devialet Phantom Ultimate CI units can be linked across a project, preserving both the footprint and the aesthetics of the most ambitious installations. The 98 dB CI and 108 dB CI models can be paired and mixed on the same Dante or Audio over IP network, with the Dante Embedded Platform (DEP) supporting 128x128 channels. The speaker connects directly to the network switch, radically simplifying on-site deployment and optimizing hardware costs. Devialet Phantom Ultimate CI ships with an open, native IP control API, giving integrators complete freedom to configure, control, and interface the speakers with the network from day one, including an administration interface accessible from any standard web browser. Within seconds, integrators can configure, lock down, and adjust critical parameters such as maximum volume limiting. This Fall, Devialet will deploy official, certified control drivers for the industry's leading smart home platforms including Crestron, Crestron Home, Savant, Control4, RTI, and NICE/ELAN, paving the way for fully centralized, turnkey automation. Beyond connectivity, Devialet Phantom Ultimate CI carries over the full acoustic specification of its consumer counterpart. The Phantom Ultimate CI 108 dB reproduces a frequency range of 14 Hz to 35 kHz (+/- 6 dB) at 1,100 W of total amplification power. The Phantom Ultimate CI 98 dB spans 18 Hz to 25 kHz (+/- 6 dB) at 400 W. Both process audio 32-bit/96 kHz. The sound signature is set by default to Monitoring Mode, delivering a flat, neutral frequency response, with adjustments and tuning handled upstream through the Dante matrix or a digital signal processor. System latency of 18 milliseconds is well suited to home theater configurations and the vast majority of live and multiroom applications. Devialet Phantom Ultimate CI is available in the same finishes as the consumer collection: Light Pearl, an elegant ultra-matte off-white, and Deep Forest, rich dark green tones with black chrome detailing, alongside the exclusive Opéra de Paris edition, hand-finished in 22-karat gold by the master gilders of Ateliers Gohard. A dedicated accessory line, including Treepod (108 dB only), Tree, and Gecko stands, has been developed for seamless integration into any architectural vision.
