About the Opportunity
Medstar is the largest EMS and mobile healthcare provider in Michigan, responding to approximately 240,000 requests for service each year across eleven counties. Our education program is growing at the same pace as the rest of the organization. Initial EMT and Paramedic courses are offered at multiple sites throughout Southern Michigan, and new cohorts fill quickly as we expand to meet regional demand.
We are seeking two experienced EMT and Paramedic Instructors to join this team: one to lead EMT programs in our North Operations (Genesee and Bay Counties) and one in our Central Operations (Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne Counties). Candidates should indicate which area they are applying for. This is an opportunity to teach within a high-volume, clinically advanced system and to help shape the next generation of EMS professionals who will serve the communities we cover.
As we prepare for our next wave of growth, we recognize the value of our existing personnel working in conjunction with our education team to develop a clinical team able to meet the demands of the highest quality patient care and service, today and into the future.
