Requirements
  • 3-6 years of experience in management consulting or a hands-on operational role in a start-up.
  • Strong analytical ability, including structuring ideas and data into spreadsheets and quantifying complex ideas into clear, compelling business cases.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, with strong organizational, stakeholder-management, and time-management skills, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
  • Strong communication skills to enact change across a growing organization, present ideas for change, and represent nesto Group with senior partners.
  • A process-oriented approach that delivers solutions both immediately and at scale.
  • Curiosity to explore bold ideas, new technology, and smart innovation.
  • Work from the Toronto office at least two days per week.
Responsibilities
  • Embed in a core business function and act as its leader’s key partner in generating growth and value.
  • Deliver day-to-day improvements to core processes and grow business results.
  • Evolve the user journey and user experience to provide high-quality service to borrowers, brokers, and capital partners.
  • Develop actionable data reporting to support better decision-making.
  • Help generate and prioritize a growth roadmap and interface with Product and Technology teams.
  • Deliver large-scale projects from scoping through implementation and change management.
  • Deliver transformational cross-company projects, such as deploying enterprise software, integrating acquisitions, or onboarding major partners.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders from senior leadership to frontline staff, including stakeholders with conflicting perspectives and priorities.
  • Overcome complexity, ambiguity, and obstacles to drive value and delivery.
  • Become an expert in unfamiliar areas and lead projects through to completion.
  • Own the success of key enterprise-level software by maximizing its implementation and use across the company.
  • Participate in defining Growth Operations ways of working, best practices, and interaction models with supporting functions and key stakeholders.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally to support projects across the major offices in Montreal, Calgary, and Vancouver.
  • Mortgage or financial-sector experience.
  • Fluency in French.
