What believers are saying

  • Upwave measured over one trillion ad impressions across 1,000+ advertisers.
  • June 2026 MNTN expansion deepens distribution into high-growth connected TV budgets.
  • June 2026 leadership hire John Bulgrin signals a push to scale AI-powered sales.

What critics are saying

  • Nielsen, Kantar, and VideoAmp attack Upwave's measurement wedge with bigger distribution.
  • If MNTN or other platforms build native measurement, Upwave becomes a replaceable layer.
  • A crowded ad-tech market will pressure pricing and slow enterprise procurement cycles.

What makes Upwave unique

  • Upwave focuses only on brand outcomes measurement, not broad analytics services.
  • Its platform spans CTV, retail media, social, audio, linear, and addressable.
  • The MNTN integration makes brand lift measurement click-to-measure inside ad-buying workflows.
