Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related area is required.
  • SHRM-CP, Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or Certified Payroll Professional certification is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of generalist experience, including seven years in a leadership capacity.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution center environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proven success overseeing all areas of people management.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a member of the Executive Team, sharing responsibility for organizational success, positive mission impact, culture, and financial position.
  • Develop and execute People strategy supporting organizational plans in safety, equity and inclusion, talent management, training and compensation, and organizational culture.
  • Oversee People Management strategies, including talent acquisition, succession planning, compensation and benefits, team retention, training, and leadership development.
  • Ensure People processes and practices comply with applicable state and federal statutes.
  • Lead the organization's equity and inclusion strategies, working cross-functionally to meet internal and external goals and managing the Board of Directors and internal committees.
  • Lead the organization's safety strategies, including workers' compensation and safety initiatives; manage the internal Safety Committee and collaborate with the Executive Team on training and a safety-conscious culture.
  • Advise Executive Team members on recruiting, managing, and developing their teams.
  • Build and maintain a positive culture aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and values, supporting team productivity, efficiency, and morale.
  • Manage a progressive compensation and benefits program to motivate, incentivize, and reward the team and support employee health and welfare.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify, develop, and deliver training and development strategies that grow the talent pipeline and succession bench.
  • Create and oversee team benefit plans and work with outside brokers on plan administration.
  • Collaborate with the CEO's office and Marketing team to develop and implement team communications and events.
  • Design and implement team policy and consult on policy matters.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
