Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in account management, client management, business development, or consultative sales.
  • Demonstrated success managing customer relationships and growing existing business.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience developing strategic account plans and managing sales pipelines.
  • Proficiency with customer relationship management systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Must reside within the Washington, DC metropolitan area, including DC, Maryland, or Virginia.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of Federal Government agency accounts.
  • Retain existing revenue while identifying opportunities to expand business through upselling and cross-selling solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue retention and growth objectives.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification through proposal development, negotiation, and close.
  • Create targeted, solution-oriented proposals with appropriate positioning and pricing for software and service offerings.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity tracking within customer relationship management tools.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within assigned Federal Government agencies.
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve customer issues and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Represent LexisNexis at industry events, customer meetings, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with customers and prospects throughout the assigned territory.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience selling to or supporting Federal Government agencies.
  • Experience within legal technology, legal information services, software as a service, data analytics, or information solutions industries.
  • An advanced degree such as a Master of Business Administration, Juris Doctor, or related graduate degree.
  • Interest in or exposure to artificial intelligence technologies and artificial-intelligence-enabled business solutions.
  • Experience working in a field sales environment with regular customer-facing interactions.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions has launched Location Intelligence for Home, an AI-driven predictive model for US home insurance carriers to assess property risk.
