Requirements
  • A college, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM Certified Professional, or SHRM Senior Certified Professional credentials are required or preferred as specified.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Human Resources is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Exposure to databases is desired.
  • Experience with Workday, UKG, and Microsoft Power Platform is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders and front-line supervisors to sustain a productive and engaged work environment and tie Human Resources contributions to business objectives through effective metrics and reporting.
  • Build constructive relationships and provide day-to-day human resources support to employees to strengthen employee relations and engagement.
  • Resolve complex employee relations matters, ethics complaints, and employee investigations.
  • Provide performance management guidance and counseling through coaching, counseling, performance improvement plans, and corrective action.
  • Reinforce consistent application of company policies and standard practices and interpret policies when collaborating with internal clients.
  • Drive staffing plans with business leaders and the Talent Acquisition Team, project hiring needs, source candidates, conduct interviews, determine compensation, and deliver onboarding.
  • Participate in planning company-sponsored and philanthropic events and activities that enhance employee and community engagement.
  • Drive human resources initiatives, including annual performance evaluations, workforce planning, compensation planning, talent management, and succession planning.
  • Implement change strategies, recommend responses to organizational change, measure awareness and understanding of change impacts, and promote buy-in.
  • Analyze competitive salary data and market rates to determine the market relationship for hourly pay structures.
  • Perform cost analysis and forecasting for hourly pay adjustments and hourly pay program initiatives.
  • Interpret data and apply analytical problem-solving to draw conclusions and communicate meaningful patterns that drive business insights.
  • Partner with HR leaders on local and enterprise HR communications and implementation of HR initiatives and services.
  • Lead talent processes including talent calibrations, skill gap analyses, succession planning, and development planning.
  • Define learning and development needs with business leaders and assist in building and implementing development resources.

Yachting Ventures names jury for 2026 IBEX Startup Pitch competition. Yachting Ventures has announced the judging panel for the 2026 IBEX Startup Pitch competition, which will bring together a group of investors, startup advisors and marine industry leaders to evaluate the next generation of leisure marine innovation. The Startup Pitch competition is held during the International BoatBuilders' Exhibition & Conference (IBEX) in Tampa, Florida this October. Applications for the IBEX 2026 Pitch Competition are still open and will close on 31 August 2026. Interested startups can apply online. The competition will take place on Tuesday 6th October from 1pm to 2:30pm in room 107, with some of the industry's most promising startups pitching live to an audience of investors, media, corporate partners and industry professionals. The competition sits within the wider Yachting Ventures Start-Up Pavilion, now in its third year at IBEX, which gives startups and scaleups a dedicated space to exhibit, build commercial relationships and enter the US market. Freedom Boat Club opens 450th global location, expanding to 35 US states and six countries

Freedom Boat Club, owned by Brunswick Corporation, has opened its 450th global location at Liberty Landing Marina in Jersey City, New Jersey. The milestone represents more than two-and-a-half times the footprint the company had when Brunswick acquired it in 2019.
