Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Chrome Hearts is moving into hospitality: it paid $37.5 million for Malibu's 20-room Surfrider Hotel, reported November 2025.
  • Las Vegas sales pay is substantial: Chrome Hearts lists $75,000 to $85,000 a year for a full-time sales associate there.
  • No degree needed for one engineering job: Chrome Hearts' entry-level Tucson production engineer role lists $65,000 to $75,000 yearly.

What critics are saying

  • Guarding its designs means litigation: in June 2026 Chrome Hearts sued Nordstrom, alleging belts and jewelry copied its cross motifs.
  • Entry jewelry work is physical: the Tucson Level 1 bench jeweler role pays $19.50 hourly and requires prolonged standing.
  • Eyewear 3D modelers execute others' ideas: Chrome Hearts' Hollywood 3D product developer posting says it is not a design position.

What makes Chrome Hearts unique

  • Production also runs in Arizona: current Tucson postings cover metal casting, screen-print quality control and warehouse work.
  • Its own web shop skips the core line: the US site sells only Baccarat glassware, scents, underwear and socks.
  • Ownership has stayed in the family: co-founder Richard Stark and his wife have co-owned Chrome Hearts since 1994.
