About the job
- A good level of general education.
- Proficiency in property operations systems; training will be provided.
- English verbal and written communication skills.
- Significant experience in a sales or host role in a similar accommodation, hospitality, leisure, reservations, or membership environment.
- Ability to initiate relationships, communicate with cultural awareness, and adapt negotiation to the audience.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, ability to work autonomously, attention to detail, and ability to make decisions or take action when required.
- Proficiency with social media, online services, and web tools for gathering and presenting research and information.
- Numerical and administrative skills necessary to complete the role's activities.
- Respond promptly and courteously to resident concerns and questions, resolve problems, and document or route requests to the appropriate individuals.
- Interact with residents and provide customer service.
- Complete administrative and other reports and perform other duties as necessary.
- Carry out sales and lettings activities, including greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting property tours and apartment viewings, processing applications, credit screening and criminal background checks, preparing lease and move-in packages, and facilitating move-in and lease signing.
- Ensure the property meets company standards for viewings, conduct follow-up calls, and collect viewing feedback.
- Complete documentation and maintain file notes and resident records.
- Use property management software such as Yardi to track apartment availability and leasing activity, manage resident and prospect data, and record demographic and other information.
- Undertake marketing and promotional events, such as attending university open days; organize regular events and monitor competitor activity.
- Dutch verbal skills are preferred.
