What You’ll Do:

As a Pre-K Counts Teacher, you'll create an engaging, supportive classroom where children ages 3–5 develop the skills they need for kindergarten and beyond.

• Make Learning Come Alive: Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that spark curiosity and build early literacy, numeracy, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Help Every Child Thrive: Individualize learning experiences, track developmental progress, and support children of all abilities, including those with identified developmental needs.
• Build Strong Family Partnerships: Collaborate with families through conferences, home visits, and ongoing communication to support each child's growth.
• Create a Safe, Welcoming Classroom: Establish consistent routines and ensure children's safety during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, and field trips.
• Collaborate and Grow: Partner with your co-teacher and education team to implement curriculum, assess child outcomes, and continuously strengthen classroom experiences.

What We’re Looking For:

To qualify, candidates must meet the applicable education and certification requirements for the position:

• Education: Bachelor's degree required.
• Certification: Pennsylvania Pre-K Teacher Certification is preferred for candidates who already hold the required credential. Candidates who are not yet certified may be considered if they meet the applicable eligibility requirements for Pennsylvania's emergency certification pathway.
• Required Clearances: Completion of required physical examination and background checks.
• Transportation: Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation.
• Travel: Ability to travel locally or long-distance for work-related meetings and functions, up to 10% of the time.
