About the job

Requirements
  • Several years of experience in channel, reseller, distribution, or partner operations at a technology company, ideally involving both a cloud-marketplace motion and a direct or contract-based resale motion.
  • Working proficiency in Japanese, Korean, and English sufficient to work with partners in both regions and a US-based team; proficiency need not be identical across the three languages.
  • Practical knowledge of at least one major cloud marketplace's reseller program, including authorizations, private offers, or deal registration, or deep experience in one resale motion and a track record of quickly learning the other.
  • Hands-on experience with quote-to-order, order management, or partner billing, including coordination with Finance, Deal Desk, and Legal.
  • A track record of converting a manual process into documented workflows, service levels, and reporting, including managing vendors or contractors who execute part of the process.
  • Hands-on Salesforce experience with reporting and data maintenance, and comfort being the only operations person in the region while working with a team many time zones away.
  • A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
  • A field relevant to the role, as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.
Responsibilities
  • Own reseller onboarding for Japan and Korea end to end, including application intake, screening coordination, agreement execution, marketplace authorization, entitlement setup, activation, and maintaining decision-grade partner records in Salesforce for both regions.
  • Run hyperscaler reseller operations, including deal-registration intake and validation within service-level agreements, marketplace authorizations and private-offer processing with cloud alliance teams, and end-customer reporting on every reseller transaction so partner-sourced revenue can be attributed.
  • Run direct reseller operations, including partner quotes and order forms, order booking and provisioning, commit tracking and true-ups with Deal Desk, RevOps, and Accounting, and coordination with Finance and Tax on local invoicing, currency, and consumption-tax handling for each transaction route.
  • Run the regional side of reseller incentives, including eligibility, quarterly payout validation, and partner disputes, in partnership with global incentive operations and Finance.
  • Establish first-line operational support for resellers in Japanese and Korean during local business hours within the global partner support queue, and localize onboarding, deal-registration, and ordering content for partners.
  • Manage outsourced or contracted regional operations capacity, including scope, quality, and service levels, and coordinate with Enablement on local-language certification and training logistics.
  • Own reseller reporting for Japan and Korea, including registration volume and cycle time, activation, attach, and attributed revenue by partner and motion; use the reporting to identify improvements for regional teams and the global program.
  • Adopt global Partner Operations playbooks where applicable, write in-region variants where needed, and represent Japan and Korea requirements in partner systems and automation work to prevent manual workload from scaling with partner count.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in the Japanese or Korean enterprise reseller and systems-integrator ecosystem, including local invoicing, credit, and consumption-tax conventions.
  • Experience with partner incentive or rebate operations, or with a partner program during its launch phase.
  • Experience with PRM or deal-registration tooling, or building automations with Claude or similar tools to run operational workflows at volume.

About the company

Anthropic builds the Claude family of AI models and sells them to businesses, software developers, and consumers, with research on making AI safe and understandable at the center of its work. In 2024 it introduced the Model Context Protocol, an open standard for connecting AI assistants to outside apps and data that OpenAI and Google adopted the next year. People use the Claude app to write and analyze files, programmers hand coding tasks to Claude Code, and companies build Claude into their own products through its API. Anthropic earns money from subscriptions, business plans, and usage-based API fees. Siblings Dario and Daniela Amodei founded Anthropic in 2021 with other former OpenAI employees, and it is based in San Francisco.

What believers are saying

  • Sales are multiplying: Anthropic's yearly revenue pace topped $65 billion in July 2026, over sevenfold since December 2025.
  • IPO plans advanced: October 2026 reports describe investor meetings and a mid-November listing target; staff shares face lockups.
  • Lower office minimum: 627 of 646 Anthropic job posts in October 2026 require at least 25% office time.

What critics are saying

  • Job security rides on growth: Anthropic's IPO prospectus lists $518 billion in cloud and computing bills due in coming years.
  • Defense work stays off-limits: in September 2026, appeals judges voted 2-1 to let the Pentagon keep blacklisting Anthropic.
  • Growth is priced in: Anthropic's valuation reached $965 billion in May 2026, up from $380 billion in February.

What makes Anthropic unique

  • Investors don't control its board alone: Anthropic's independent Long-Term Benefit Trust elects a growing number of directors.
  • It isn't tied to one chipmaker: Claude runs on Nvidia GPUs plus custom AI chips designed by Google and Amazon.
  • It holds back its riskiest model: Claude Mythos 5.1, launched September 2026, goes only to vetted cyberdefenders and life scientists.

Blackstone eyes AI financing boom, with 7% of its $1.4T assets already exposed

Blackstone sees growing opportunities to finance artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure, from chips and computing equipment to power generation and data centres. "The needs of capital here are so enormous. It's unprecedented in our lifetimes," President Jon Gray said on the firm's third-quarter earnings call. The firm is reportedly committing $9 billion to a junior-debt tranche in an $18 billion financing package for Anthropic's AI chips and computing infrastructure, part of a broader $60 billion arrangement. In June, its Credit & Insurance business joined a $35 billion financing launched by Apollo and Broadcom for Anthropic. Blackstone is also weighing dedicated investment vehicles alongside broader funds. About 7% of its $1.4 trillion in assets under management is exposed to AI infrastructure. Gray said the firm focuses on physical infrastructure and long-term contracted assets to manage risks such as technological obsolescence.

Cube joins Claude's connector directory, bringing live, permissioned FP&A data to finance teams

Cube, an agentic financial planning and analysis (FP&A) platform, has partnered with Anthropic to make its financial model available inside Claude. Finance teams can now add Cube through Claude's connector directory. The connector gives Claude the chart of accounts, business logic, and enterprise permissions behind a company's numbers. Each user sees only the data they are authorised to access, and figures can be traced to the source transaction. Users sign in through a secure OAuth flow, with no API keys to manage. They can then ask questions in plain English, such as comparing actuals with forecast, or set up new scenarios. "Data tells AI what the numbers are. Financial context tells AI what the numbers mean," said Christina Ross, founder and chief executive officer of Cube. The Cube MCP Server is available now.

Qlik's MCP server joins Anthropic's Claude Directory, bringing governed data to Claude

Qlik has made its Model Context Protocol (MCP) server available through Anthropic's Claude Directory. Claude users can now connect governed Qlik data, analytical logic, and selected analytics workflows more easily. The server gives Claude access to data lineage, trust signals, and business metrics from Qlik Cloud. Users can search apps and datasets, ask questions in natural language, and create dashboards with prompts. Teams no longer need to rebuild business logic elsewhere. Access runs on OAuth-based authentication and existing Qlik Cloud permissions, so enterprise controls stay in place. "Customers adopting Claude want more than an LLM hooked to raw records," said Josh Good, vice president of corporate strategy at Qlik. The company announced the news on October 22, 2026.

Anthropic previews Claude Duet, a proactive AI agent rivalling Meta's Muse and OpenAI's Dots

Anthropic on Wednesday announced a preview of Claude Duet, an AI agent for small businesses and professionals. It can send daily briefs, keep tabs on connected apps, and carry out tasks such as building dashboards, scheduling meetings, and creating financial forecasts. The launch follows Meta's Muse, which topped Apple's App Store after its launch last month, and OpenAI's Dots. Meta chief executive officer Mark Zuckerberg said more than 10 million people in the US and Canada have set up Muse agents. Anthropic said Duet is still early and "might misread a thread or miscalibrate what's urgent." Personal errands, such as booking tickets, are not "quite as strong." A waitlist is open. Pro and Max subscribers can use the preview through a standalone app or the Claude website.

Eric Schmidt's 1% Anthropic stake could be worth $20B, thanks to an introduction from his ex

Eric Schmidt's early bet on Anthropic could be worth as much as $20 billion if the AI company goes public at its $2 trillion target, Bloomberg reported. The former Google chief executive officer reportedly owns a 1% stake, and the listing could come as soon as next month. Schmidt's link to Anthropic came through Cami Clark, whom he dated for three years from 2011. She later married Anthropic co-founder Dario Amodei and introduced the two men. Schmidt joined Anthropic's $124 million Series A round in 2021, investing tens of millions, sources said. PitchBook data valued the company at $461 million then; it is now valued at $965 billion. Anthropic made $16.3 billion in revenue in the first half of this year, up from $1.1 billion a year earlier.
