Convergint Technology Centers to design, deploy and service Lumana's
AI video security platform across existing camera infrastructures worldwide
LOS GATOS, Calif. and HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Lumana, a leading provider of AI video security solutions, and Convergint, the leading global services platform for tech-enabled security and safety solutions, today jointly announced that the two companies have formed a partnership that expands the AI-enabled video solutions available to Convergint's enterprise, mid-market and public sector customers worldwide.
Most organizations already have an extensive network of security cameras and infrastructure. However, a vast majority of the recorded video footage is rarely watched. Lumana's AI video security platform transforms existing IP cameras from passive recording devices into AI agents that can monitor and alert for specific events and surface operational insights that accelerate investigations.
As part of the partnership, Convergint's global network of Technology Centers will design, quote, deploy and service Lumana's camera-agnostic AI video security platform, providing enterprise and public sector customers with a trusted integrator to add advanced AI capabilities to their existing security infrastructure.
"Convergint is a trusted integrator partner that deeply understands complex facilities, camera infrastructure and the teams responsible for keeping them secure," said Sagi Ben Moshe, Co-Founder and CEO of Lumana. "The combination of our AI video security platform with Convergint's field engineering expertise gives enterprise and public sector customers a seamless path to transform their video security into actionable intelligence so they can see, understand and act on threats in real time - all without replacing their existing hardware."
Lumana's AI video security platform is built around VIA-1, the company's proprietary video intelligence model that continually learns from each environment it is deployed to monitor. The platform's distributed hybrid-cloud architecture processes video analysis locally on-premises to drastically reduce bandwidth consumption, eliminate latency and ensure strict data privacy, while leveraging the cloud for advanced analysis of incidents flagged for review, remote management and updates. The platform is camera agnostic, supports SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and NDAA compliance requirements, and is currently deployed across retail, manufacturing, higher education, healthcare, sports venues and Fortune 500 enterprises around the world.
"Convergint's approach is centered on helping customers select and integrate technology based on their specific security and operational requirements," said Joe Young, Vice President of Partners and Alliances at Convergint. "Our work with Lumana expands the AI-enabled video options available to customers and combines Lumana's platform capabilities with Convergint's experience in solution design, integration, deployment and ongoing service."
Convergint Technology Centers are now able to design, quote, deploy and service Lumana AI video solutions. For more information, contact [email protected] or your local Convergint Technology Center.

Merge Technologies bolsters integration skills through Convergint partnership.

Providing AV, workplace technology and electronic security solutions.
Merge Technologies has partnered with Convergint Australia to reinforce its delivery of audio-visual (AV), workplace technology and electronic security solutions.
The agreement sees Merge prioritise AV and workplace technology integrations and experiences as well as developing its Australian presence and speciality capabilities.
Meanwhile, Convergint will utilise the partnership to focus on its speciality in electronic security while also investing further in security solutions for its existing customer base.
The pair will also work closely together to provide continuity for customers, partners, and team members as well as establishing a platform for future collaboration and growth.
Opportunities are also expected for collaboration around the overlap of AV, workplace technology and security with the combination of complementary capabilities to support customers.
Convergint's interest in involving itself with a partnership that involves AV technology stems from its August 2023 acquisition of Peace of Mind Technology (POMT).
It acquired the specialist at the time due to growing demand for integrated workplace technology and collaboration solutions.
Since that point, Merge Technology said the AV, workplace technology, and electronic security markets have evolved rapidly, which has created opportunities for specialist businesses and customer relationships.
"Merge is well positioned to support customers across existing projects, service arrangements and future workplace technology requirements," it said in a statement.
It also said Convergint will keep working closely with customers to identify and deliver integrated, intelligent, and technology-enabled security solutions through its established relationships, technical expertise, and capabilities in Australia and Asia Pacific (APAC).

Convergint strengthens UK presence with new central London office.
July 1, 2026
* Mark Fletcher
Convergint has opened a new central London office as part of its continued investment in the UK market and its long-term growth across Europe.
The new office, located in Victoria, will provide Convergint with a more central base for customers, partners and colleagues, supporting the company's work with organisations across London and the wider UK.
The location also brings Convergint closer to many of the organisations it supports every day.
From its position in Victoria, the office sits close to Westminster, major transport links, embassies, commercial buildings and key customer sites across the capital, reflecting Convergint's focus on combining global capability with local presence and responsive, relationship-led support.
"Our new London office gives us a stronger base from which to support customers across the capital and the wider UK," said Matthew Coulson, UK General Manager at Convergint.
"Being located in such a central part of the city means we can be closer to many of the organisations we work with, better connected to our partners, and more available to the people and places that rely on our service every day.
"For our colleagues, it also creates a highly accessible space where teams can come together, collaborate and continue building the culture that underpins the way we support our customers."
The opening comes as Convergint marks 25 years since its founding and continues to expand its global footprint, which now includes more than 11,000 colleagues across more than 220 locations worldwide.
Wider investment.
The London office forms part of a wider period of investment for the business, following the opening of Convergint's new global headquarters in the Chicago area last year.
Yaruba Tate, President of Europe at Convergint, said: "The UK is an important market for Convergint and a central part of our broader European growth strategy.
"Across the region, customers are looking for trusted partners that can help them manage increasingly complex safety, security and operational environments, while also bringing the technical expertise, scale and service culture needed to support them over the long term.
"This new London office reflects our confidence in the UK market, our commitment to customers and colleagues here, and our ambition to continue developing Convergint's presence across Europe."
Community support.
The opening was marked with an event that also highlighted Convergint's commitment to supporting the communities in which it operates.
Representatives from London Air Ambulance attended the event as Convergint develops its relationship with the charity, whose work across the capital aligns closely with the company's focus on safety, technology, rapid response and protecting people.
The London office opening follows Convergint's recent UK participation in its global STEP Up programme, which supports schools and communities through security technology, volunteerism and charitable activity.
As part of this year's programme, Convergint delivered a project in Kent to help improve safety and security for a local school, forming part of wider activity across Europe and globally.
The new office will serve as a central London base for Convergint's UK team, supporting customer engagement, partner collaboration, colleague connection and future community initiatives.
