About the job
- At least 3 years of account management experience, such as cold calling, customer service, proposal development, and closing deals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, sales management software, and customer relationship management software.
- Represent the company’s products and services by developing comprehensive product and service knowledge and researching consumers to identify how the solutions meet their needs.
- Contact, build, grow, and maintain a consistent pipeline of current clients and new leads by implementing sales and marketing strategies to meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas.
- Generate leads and build relationships by organizing a daily work schedule to actively manage incoming sales opportunities from existing or potential new customers throughout the assigned territory.
- Develop and implement a territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on prospect and client interactions.
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identify potential new sales opportunities.
- Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make qualifying sales calls, follow up on leads, create proposals, and manage the sales cycle to close new business in all offered service categories.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of core service offerings, conduct demonstrations, and handle objections.
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following the defined selling process with potential buyers, often using product demonstrations and presentations.
- Escalate and handle customer service items as directed by sales leadership.
- Coordinate with sales leadership and staff to ensure company quotas and standards are met, while conducting market research and regular competitor monitoring.
- Proven success exceeding quotas.
- Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.
