  • 13+ years of relevant experience in a Software Engineering, DevOps, or Code Quality Engineering role within a large-scale, complex, or global enterprise.
  • Hands-on administration and engineering experience with SonarQube and related static-analysis or linter tools such as Semgrep, Codacy, DeepSource, Checkmarx, and SonarLint.
  • Strong development or scripting skills in one or more of Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.
  • Deep working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline automation tools such as Jenkins, Harness, Tekton, or GitHub Actions.
  • Practical experience with container technologies such as Docker, Podman, OpenShift, or Kubernetes.
  • Experience leveraging existing BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Behave, and unit/functional test suites such as JUnit, PyTest, Playwright, or Cypress, within personal software development workflows.
  • Familiarity or hands-on experience with Agentic AI architectures, Model Context Protocol server integration, LLM-based coding assistants, or AI-augmented developer tooling.
  • Experience in vulnerability management, static security scanning, and automated gating for security compliance.
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical and diagnostic problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • Track record of driving operational process improvements and reducing technical debt.
  • Ability to work independently in a global matrixed organization while managing tight deadlines and competing priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the architecture, deployment, administration, and continuous enhancement of enterprise Static Application Security Testing and code quality platforms, such as SonarQube, DeepSource, Codacy, and Semgrep.
  • Configure, calibrate, and enforce automated quality gates, code rulesets, technical debt calculation models, and code-coverage baselines across multi-language enterprise repositories.
  • Oversee version upgrades, patching, high availability, and operational maintenance for on-premises and SaaS/cloud-hosted code quality infrastructure.
  • Integrate automated code quality scanning and gating into CI/CD orchestration platforms such as Tekton, Harness, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions.
  • Standardize build-time and pull-request scanning workflows to provide developer feedback loops, fast pipeline execution, and automated branch-policy validation.
  • Containerize and maintain scanning tools and quality agents using Docker, Podman, and OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.
  • Use existing automated BDD testing frameworks in day-to-day software development to ensure platform features, integrations, and automation scripts promoted to production meet quality expectations.
  • Build reliability, robustness, and fault tolerance into engineering components, maintaining high test coverage and performing functional and regression verification before release.
  • Ensure automated test suites run as mandatory validation gates within CI/CD pipelines before promotion to production environments.
  • Architect, configure, and operationalize Agentic AI workers and Model Context Protocol tool ecosystems to enhance developer productivity and modernize code review workflows.
  • Integrate AI-driven agents into development environments and CI/CD pipelines to support quality triage, remediation suggestions, boilerplate generation, and static-analysis interpretation.
  • Evaluate and implement AI tools and Model Context Protocol servers that improve developer experience, reduce manual toil, and accelerate engineering velocity.
  • Partner with Cyber Security, Architecture, and Application teams to triage, track, and remediate static code vulnerabilities, Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures, and OWASP Top 10 risks.
  • Conduct root cause analyses of recurring defect patterns, code smells, architectural bottlenecks, and pipeline failures.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on clean-coding standards, refactoring strategies, and design patterns across Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Go.
  • Serve as the technical authority on code quality, static analysis, and AI-enabled engineering practices for internal stakeholders and engineering leadership.
  • Advise, mentor, and upskill junior engineers and development teams on clean code, unit testing, BDD execution, and safe use of AI developer tools.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Solution Architects, and Release Engineering to define quality roadmaps, KPIs, and engineering velocity metrics.
  • Assess risk during technical decision-making, considering the firm’s reputation and safeguarding its assets.
  • Ensure quality tools, pipelines, AI agents, and processes comply with company policies, internal audit standards, information security guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Financial Services experience is strongly preferred.
  • Enterprise/Data Center edition of SonarQube is preferred.
  • A master’s degree in a related technical discipline is preferred.

Blackstone unveils $63B Broadcom financing deal with BofA, Citi and Morgan Stanley

Blackstone has announced a $63 billion financing deal with Broadcom and a group of banks that includes Bank of America, Citi, and Morgan Stanley. Its shares edged higher on the day, trading at $119.06. The asset manager has a market value near $136.61 billion. Fifty of 93 analysts rate the stock a buy, with a median price target of $138, about 15.9% above the current level. Shares sit at support around $118.74 and trade below their 50-day and 200-day moving averages. A close above $125.04 would signal buyers are following through, while a drop below $118.74 would suggest the move is fading.

Citi offers up to 4.35% savings yield to win share of customers' $3T held elsewhere

Citi is offering higher savings rates to draw more of its customers' money to the bank. The $2.6 trillion-asset lender says clients hold about $3 trillion in assets elsewhere. Citigold private clients will get a 4.35% annual percentage yield, Citigold customers 4%, and Citi Priority clients 3.5%. Customers also need a checking account and a certain direct deposit amount, or an average balance in investment accounts. The tiers range from $30,000 to $1 million-plus in combined average monthly balance. "This is a disruptor to stop money in motion," said Kate Luft, head of retail banking. In the third quarter, Citi's wealth unit logged $38 billion in net new investment assets. Citigold and retail bank revenues rose 16%, to about $2.3 billion.

Citigroup returns 24.7% in a year as $30B buyback and margin gains test bull and bear views

Citigroup shares returned 24.7% over the past year, including dividends, after the bank reported record revenue, earnings ahead of forecasts, and a $30 billion buyback plan. The stock now trades at $121, up from $96.69 at the start of the period. Revenue rose from $19,836 million in Q3 2025 to $21,423 million in Q3 2026. Net income climbed from $3,439 million to $4,840 million, lifting net margin from 17.3% to 22.6%. Simply Wall St's bullish case puts fair value at $103, built on 6.9% revenue growth and a 19.3% margin from digital transformation and cross-border payments. The cautious case sets it at $77, citing heavy spending and regulatory pressure. The key test is whether Citigroup can turn services growth and AI-driven efficiency into durable double-digit returns on tangible common equity.

team.blue extends $1.2B of Term Loan B to 2032 after upsizing twice

team.blue, a pan-European provider of digital services for small and medium-sized businesses, has extended €1.1 billion of its €1.35 billion Term Loan B. The Ghent-based company, backed by Hg, CPP Investments and Sofina, priced the deal on October 22, 2026. The refinanced tranche now matures in July 2032, instead of September 2029. About 90% of the company's term debt now falls due in 2032. Demand was strong. The deal was upsized twice from an initial €500 million, making it the largest software euro term loan issuance in the last 12 months. It priced at E + 425bps with an original issue discount of 98.5. "The depth of support from our institutional investor base allowed us to go much further," said chief financial officer Jonathan Thackray.
