Manhattan Associates cloud revenue up 28% as AI pilots convert and partner deals surge 4x

Manhattan Associates (NASDAQ:MANH) said cloud revenue grew 28% year over year in the third quarter of 2026. The company reported on its earnings call on October 27, 2026. Chief executive officer Eric Clark said every customer that tried its AI features has signed up for a full subscription, a 100% conversion rate. It also launched "Editions," tiered packages meant to bring smaller supply chains onto the platform. Partner-sourced deals are up more than fourfold so far this year, as system integrators and consultants hire staff to sell and deploy the software. Investors are watching implementation speed and pricing discipline as midsize contracts ramp up.

Manhattan Associates at 66.6x earnings would need 14% annual growth to justify $14B value

Manhattan Associates (MANH) trades at 66.6 times trailing earnings, against 22.9 for the S&P 500, though revenue rose just 6.5% over the four quarters to June 2026. At a market value of about $14.0 billion, the company would need to nearly double revenue over five years, growing 14.0% a year, to hold its value as its P/E falls. That means $2.17 billion in annual sales, up from $1.13 billion, at a 22.4% net margin. Buyers appear to be backing its cloud business. Cloud revenue rose 26% to $127 million in fiscal Q2 2026, while total revenue grew 9.3%. Management guides to 7.5% total growth for fiscal 2026. Cloud growth is the figure to watch when third-quarter results arrive on October 27, 2026.

Manhattan Associates' $435M buyback lifts EPS, but outpaces free cash flow

Manhattan Associates has cut its diluted share count to 59.0 million from 62.4 million three years ago, lifting earnings per share. Over the three years to June 2026, earnings per share rose 14.6% a year, against 12.9% for net income. In the latest four quarters, the company spent $435 million on buybacks. The stock trades at 67.7 times earnings, against 23.0 for the S&P 500. The remaining $225 million buyback authority would buy about 930,000 shares at $242.17. Management lowered its full-year GAAP operating margin forecast to 24.3% at the midpoint, from 24.8%. Fiscal Q3 results are expected on October 27, 2026.

Manhattan Associates up 36.8% after raising 2026 guidance on cloud and AI momentum

Manhattan Associates reported second-quarter revenue of $297.79 million and raised its full-year 2026 guidance to $1.16–1.17 billion in total revenue, with GAAP EPS of $3.59–3.65. The company's share price has risen 36.8% following the announcement. Management cited record bookings, strong cloud revenue growth, and the launch of Sightline, an explainable AI capability within ActivePlanning, as key drivers. The guidance increase reflects confidence in the company's transition from traditional licences to cloud subscriptions. GAAP operating margin is projected at 24.2–24.4%. The company's cloud adoption and AI features are expected to deepen customer relationships in supply chain management. Near-term catalysts include cloud bookings, remaining performance obligations growth, and AI uptake, though execution risks and potential enterprise spending slowdowns remain concerns.
