  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Interpersonal relationship skills for establishing and maintaining an effective learning and working environment with students and faculty.
  • Completion of the U.S. Army Senior Leader Course or higher.
  • Completion of a formal course on one or more U.S. Army Mission Command Information Systems.
  • At least two years of experience in military training or instruction.
  • Subject-matter expertise in one or more Mission Command Information Systems, tools, and training simulations, specifically Command Post Computing Environment, Virtual Battlespace 3, and DXTRS.
  • Experience with operations and training requirements for a Battalion or higher command post.
  • A current U.S. Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Operate supported unit Mission Command Information Systems and conduct over-the-shoulder training for unit Mission Command Information Systems operators.
  • Provide specific expertise in Mission Command Information Systems, gaming, and simulations, particularly medical simulations, as requested.
  • Produce daily observation logs capturing over-the-shoulder interventions and develop Quick Reference Guides or standard operating procedures for unit operators.
  • Support training event EXCON, HICON, and response cell operations and after-action reviews.
  • Conduct leader and staff individual and collective command post, exercise, and institutional training in accordance with current doctrine and the Decisive Action Training Environment and Operational Environment.
  • Publish after-action review slide decks, written post-exercise training effectiveness reports, and maintain EXCON/HICON communication and action logs during simulations.
  • Report to and take direction from the Training Support Lead.
  • Prepare weekly or monthly activity reports detailing hours worked, classes taught, system issues resolved, and upcoming planning milestones.
Desired Qualifications
  • Military service with experience in areas listed under the required qualifications.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Army training, operations, training aids, devices, simulators, and simulations, and Mission Command Information Systems.
  • Experience using Army gaming, particularly Virtual Battlespace 3, and low-overhead drivers such as DXTRS in stimulating Mission Command Information Systems individual and collective training.
  • Knowledge of Brigade and Battalion staff and noncommissioned officer-led processes in Combined Arms Training Strategies execution.
  • Experience with SharePoint or another collaboration tool.
