About the company

Anaplan provides a cloud-based platform that helps organizations manage business planning and performance across departments like finance, sales, and supply chain. The software works by integrating data from across a company into a single environment where users can model different business scenarios, forecast outcomes, and collaborate in real-time. Unlike traditional planning tools that often keep data in separate silos, Anaplan connects people and information across the entire enterprise to ensure all departments are working from the same plan. The company's goal is to help businesses optimize their operations and make faster, more informed decisions through a unified planning process.

Anaplan appoints Jared Coyle as executive vice president, AI.

Anaplan appoints Jared Coyle as executive vice president, AI. Enterprise AI leader joins Anaplan to head AI Center of Excellence and drive the shift to the Agentic Enterprise MIAMI, Sept. 23, 2026 - Anaplan, a leading AI-driven scenario planning and analysis platform that serves as the decision infrastructure for the Agentic Enterprise, today announced the appointment of Jared Coyle as executive vice president, AI. Coyle joins Anaplan's Executive Committee and will lead the company's AI Center of Excellence, reporting to Chief Product and Technology Officer Adam Thier. This new appointment reflects Anaplan's continued commitment to delivering a single, unified platform where predictive, generative and agentic AI work together on a deterministic foundation, giving enterprises one connected system for confident decision-making at scale. "We're driving the development of the Agentic Enterprise: role-based AI agents that reengineer how core business functions operate, on a shared, auditable foundation," said Thier. "Jared has spent his career turning technology innovation - AI in particular - into outsized customer value. Enterprises continue to mandate that AI deliver faster cycle times and real productivity gains, and I'm confident Jared's proven expertise will provide the leadership this next phase of AI demands." Anaplan's AI Center of Excellence is turning a bold vision into breakthrough innovation, developing and scaling impactful AI capabilities across the portfolio, with an explicit objective to tie every product and capability to measurable customer value. Coyle will bring his vast technical and go-to-market expertise to help run the center end-to-end, from ideation and roadmap to enterprise delivery and adoption. "What excites me most about joining Anaplan is the real focus on making AI practical for our customers," said Coyle. "For most companies, enterprise AI hasn't lived up to the hype - it has failed to deliver real value, or the productivity gains they expected. At Anaplan, it's different. There's a relentless focus on AI that delivers not only a compelling ROI, but the confidence to make cross-enterprise decisions with certainty." Coyle spent more than 12 years at SAP, most recently as chief AI officer for the Americas, where he built the region's AI go-to-market practice into the company's fastest-growing line of business. Earlier in his career, he worked in product engineering and has advised Fortune 500 executives and U.S. policymakers on AI strategy and governance. He holds multiple patents and a PhD in quantum electrophysics and photonics from Drexel University, where he researched quantum organic optoelectronics.
