Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • September 21, 2026 closed Tiide Commerce, adding Amazon and TikTok Shop expertise.
  • 2025 Sidekick Agency added lifecycle marketing, subscriptions, loyalty, email, SMS, and direct mail.
  • Rallyday investment funded CEO Scott Webb and ongoing acquisitions after 30% growth.

What critics are saying

  • Shopify dependence dominates revenue, exposing Simplistic to partner-policy changes and platform fees.
  • Integrating Tiide, Sidekick, and future rollups strains delivery quality across 100-plus employees.
  • If Shopify internalizes agency work, Simplistic loses its core distribution channel.

What makes Simplistic unique

  • Simplistic holds Shopify Platinum, Large Accounts Partner, and Klaviyo Platinum status.
  • It powered over $2 billion GMV on Shopify and serves hundreds of clients.
  • Rallyday called Simplistic a platform for agentic commerce, not a generic agency.

Simplistic acquires Tiide Commerce to expand Amazon and TikTok Shop services

Simplistic, an e-commerce consultancy and Shopify Plus Platinum Partner, has acquired Tiide Commerce, an Amazon and TikTok Shop growth agency. The deal closed on 21 September 2026. Tiide, founded and led by Mark Lathrum, brings dedicated marketplace management expertise to Simplistic's service offerings. The two companies had previously worked together through a cross-sell partnership, with Tiide serving brands referred from Simplistic's Flash Site engagements. This marks Simplistic's first acquisition since receiving investment from Rallyday Partners. Scott Webb, CEO of Simplistic, said Amazon and TikTok Shop represent a natural extension of the company's investment strategy. The acquisition follows Simplistic's purchase of Sidekick Agency last year, which added lifecycle marketing capabilities. Financial terms were not disclosed.
