Requirements
  • An Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a related degree is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience including design, construction inspection, and testing of transportation, municipal sewer, and water projects is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer is required.
  • The ability to work in a detail-oriented manner and multitask is required.
Responsibilities
  • Perform construction inspection on a variety of municipal projects.
  • Verify quantities and communicate with contractors.
  • Review and understand design plans.
  • Perform computations, reduce field notes, file and retrieve prints, and run prints.
  • Perform construction staking.
  • Design wastewater, street, sewer, and water utilities in Civil 3D.
Desired Qualifications
  • Additional experience is encouraged.
  • Prior experience with Civil 3D is preferred.
