Requirements
- Experience as an individual contributor for a significant part of a career, with the ability to reason about systems and integrations at the level of an experienced senior engineer.
- Ability to review technical proposals and participate meaningfully in discussions.
- Experience with microservices architecture, cloud infrastructure, and integration patterns.
- At least 5 years of experience leading engineering teams with 20 or more engineers in total.
- Track record of scaling teams and processes in high-growth environments.
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong planning and execution skills focused on business impact over technical novelty.
- Track record of delivering complex projects within reasonable budget, time, and scope constraints.
- Experience translating complex business objectives into actionable technical initiatives.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments while providing clear direction.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Passion for renewable energy and sustainable technology.
- Strong engineering or engineering-management background with hands-on leadership experience in an authentication or authorization environment, taking full ownership of products from concept to production in product-driven companies.
- End-to-end ownership mindset, taking products or major components from concept to production and owning the full lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a team of engineers, fostering collaboration and excellence.
- Own the full lifecycle of a product or component, from design and development to deployment and optimization.
- Shape the technical roadmap alongside product and design teams.
- Influence architecture and processes to ensure scalability, quality, and maintainability.
- Architect scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions while mentoring and developing the team.
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Designers, a Solution Architect, a Technical Lead, and Product Engineers to define roadmaps, drive execution, and uphold best practices.
- Contribute to the codebase and guide the team in developing solutions for customers.
