About the company

Brandlight is a SaaS platform for AI Engine Optimization (AEO) that helps brands monitor and influence how large language models like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity present their narratives. It combines real-time AI visibility and monitoring (brand mentions, sentiment, share of voice, and source attribution) with AI optimization (content recommendations and A/B testing) and reputation management (detecting harmful references and providing corrective actions). The platform supports multiple brands, languages, and regions and is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant; enterprise pricing ranges from $4,000 to $15,000 per month, with an agency partner program. Brandlight positions AI visibility as essential in a zero-sum, single-answer world and aims to help brands control their narrative and expand their enterprise client base.

What believers are saying

  • Brandlight raised $30 million in February 2026, totaling $36 million.
  • Kimberly-Clark, Estée Lauder, LG, and The Hartford validate enterprise demand.
  • Brandlight is hiring aggressively in Israel and New York for 2026 expansion.

What critics are saying

  • Profound and cheaper self-serve rivals commoditize monitoring before Brandlight scales sales.
  • Enterprise-custom pricing and sales-led onboarding block SMB adoption and slow pipeline conversion.
  • If Google, OpenAI, or Perplexity change rankings, Brandlight's core value erodes quickly.

What makes Brandlight unique

  • Brandlight sells AI visibility plus AI ads and agentic commerce, not monitoring alone.
  • Imri Marcus launched Brandlight in 2024 for Fortune 500 brands across AI engines.
  • Brandlight claims SOC 2 Type II and multi-market, multi-language enterprise coverage.

Brandlight raises $30M to help Fortune 500 brands navigate AI-native advertising and search

Brandlight, a platform helping brands manage their presence in AI-driven search and advertising, has raised $30 million in Series A funding led by Pelion Venture Partners, with participation from Cardumen Capital and G20 Ventures. Founded in October 2024 by Imri Marcus, Uri Gafni and Didi Dvash, Brandlight serves hundreds of major brands including Kimberly-Clark, LG, The Hartford and Estée Lauder. The platform analyses billions of AI-generated signals across the customer journey and provides actionable recommendations for marketing teams navigating AI search, advertising and commerce. The funding will scale Brandlight's enterprise platform as AI visibility becomes a dedicated budget line for global brands. The company positions itself as a marketing operating system for AI channels, helping brands stay ahead of the convergence of search, commerce, advertising and AI agents.
