Requirements

At least 1 year of MIG welding experience.
At least 1 year of experience working in a similar capacity within a manufacturing or related facility.
Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
Ability to identify issues in a work process and perceive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing.
Ability to work in a team environment and respect teammates.
Strong command of written and spoken English.
Ability to perform physically demanding work for up to 12 hours a day.
Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours a day, including over varied and uneven terrain.
Ability to frequently and repetitively lift, push, and carry up to 35 pounds, including carrying 20 pounds up and down stairs.
Ability to frequently and repetitively bend, lift, and reach to install parts.
Ability to stoop, lie, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist, and crawl for extended periods, including up to 12 hours a day.
Ability to climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, or other high structures.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, and arm protection, and to follow prescribed safety rules and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to create equipment and products accurately.
Design and build basic or complex structures, supports, or frameworks as part of daily work.
Weld using GMAW and MIG processes, and perform oxyacetylene torch and plasma arc cutting processes.
Use handheld tools such as screw guns, drill guns, and grinders, and operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tools.
Maintain inventory of manufacturing products and welding consumables.
Create specific weldment setups and fixturing to meet geometric requirements.
Perform work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.

Job Description

In this role, the welder will be expected to join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate techniques and using various welding devices. The ideal candidate will bring technical know-how and an innovative mindset to the role and help drive our industry-leading solutions.

Job Responsibilities

Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products

Ability to Weld using GMAW, MIG process to perform oxy/acetylene torch, plasma arc cutting processes
Utilize handheld tools such as a hand held screw gun, drill gun, and grinders to operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tools
Maintain inventory of manufacturing product and welding consumables
Create specific weldment set-ups and fixturing to meet geometric requirements
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures

Job Requirements

1-3 years MIG welding experience
1-3 years’ experience operating in a similar capacity within a manufacturing or relatable facility
Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch and hearing
Work in a team environment and respect all teammates Physical demands and abilities
Specific technical or vocational training or certification preferred
Must have a strong command of the english lanuage, both written and verbal
