Requirements
  • Three or more years of experience selling in the retail channel.

  • Ability to complete multiple store visits daily.
  • Strong time management skills, including the ability to multitask, manage conflicting priorities, and meet established deadlines.
  • Ability and willingness to work varying schedules based on client needs, including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and related computer hardware and software.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and move, install, or set up products in stores or for special events and training.
  • Ability to drive and provide transportation among three stores per day.
Responsibilities
  • Achieve or exceed LG sales targets in assigned retail locations.
  • Compile competitive realities and insights, as well as feedback on LG products, displays, and overall strategy.
  • Develop and execute a weekly visit plan based on data analysis.
  • Manage relationships at assigned stores with store leadership, category, merchandising, installation, and service managers, consumers, and other stakeholders, focusing on influencing sales and sales strategy.
  • Maintain an understanding of industry trends, technology, and competitive information, and report progress of retail relationships.
  • Represent LG and BDS Connected Solutions professionally when working with clients.
  • Train in-store sales associates and managers on LG product features and benefits, LG vendor pads and brand walls, product-tier step-up processes, and the LG product line and industry offerings.
  • Coordinate LG's in-store presence, sales calls, training, assisted-selling hours, and special-event schedule planning; resolve in-store issues and manage relationships with in-store management, staff, and consumers.
  • Coordinate and conduct demo days, specialized training, assisted-selling hours, and special-event schedule planning to optimize sales and increase product sell-through.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 display issues; report remaining display issues, track resolution, set products to planogram, and gain commitments for increased shelf share.
  • Complete required reporting for store tasks and field training activities on time.
  • Adhere to predetermined budgets, policies, and procedures, and execute program initiatives as directed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience selling home entertainment products.
  • Training experience or project management experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience.

Channel Partners acquires Retail Merchandising Services, combining 40 years of in-store expertise with real-time retail intelligence platform

Channel Partners Solutions has acquired Retail Merchandising Services, a national merchandising company headquartered in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. The deal combines RMS's 40 years of in-store execution experience with Channel Partners' OpenSy™ field intelligence platform, which provides real-time visit verification and AI-powered photo validation. Founded in 1985, RMS operates across all 50 US states and holds Target Preferred Partner designation, granting backroom certification and direct inventory access. The company will continue serving existing clients whilst integrating Channel Partners' technology stack throughout 2026 and 2027. The combined organisation will deliver retail execution services across merchandising, audits, experiential marketing and warehousing. RMS operates using a W-2 employee model and serves brands across consumer electronics, grocery, health and beauty categories.
