Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in marketing strategy or business development, ideally with a consumer-facing financial product.
  • Robust experience designing and deploying marketing campaign management processes and technologies, including business-to-business and/or business-to-consumer environments, with business-to-consumer experience preferred.
  • Previous exposure to highly effective, scaled, and/or mature marketing technology ecosystems.
  • Experience driving business value on a scalable platform while leveraging artificial intelligence as a core platform capability.
  • Experience delivering business solutions through technology ecosystems incorporating platforms, integrations, technologies, and data elements.
  • Ability to design and drive a technology roadmap by creating rigorous, transparent, and organized sprint schedules that yield on-time, quality deliveries.
  • Experience establishing internally used application visions and implementing pragmatic roadmaps supporting complex leadership environments and business processes.
  • Experience leading or closely working with development engineering teams delivering business technology solutions that follow internal standards for system architecture, development operations, security, privacy, continuous improvement, delivery velocity, quality, and risk mitigation.
  • Experience leading technology deployments through information technology teams and external vendors, including knowledge of development budgets, sprint schedules, testing approaches, cutover, and other technology lifecycle phases.
  • Experience representing technology roadmaps and progress on behalf of information technology, data science, engineering, and/or a directly managed software vendor to business partners.
  • Experience driving business capability creation and/or transformation using people change-management principles, process design thinking, and technology roadmap execution.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, including using business performance data, business-case data, and other metrics with appropriate context and assumptions to drive priorities and alignment.
  • Highly effective communication skills for alignment across cross-functional project teams, leadership, business development, legal teams, technology vendors, data science, and analytics.
  • Strong organizational skills to create documented playbooks for new business capabilities, future process handoffs, and backup training.
  • Experience deploying programs that enable revenue-driving operations, key business decisions, and external partner collaboration.
  • Ability to drive alignment on a holistic vision for new business motions, including future-state processes, roles and responsibilities, and technology, and to execute the roadmap from the current state to the future state.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional alignment toward a focused, clear, and prioritized path forward across multiple teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities
  • Drive the design and maturation of business capabilities that enable growth, scale, quality, and risk mitigation through business processes, playbooks, and technology.
  • Collaborate with Wallet, Payment and Commerce Marketing and its partners to design the future state of campaign management and deploy technology to improve associated processes.
  • Own the implementation of processes, playbooks, and technology for Marketing Campaign Management.
  • Collaboratively design the future state of the marketing process technology ecosystem and drive progress toward it.
  • Establish constructs for data architecture, platform integrations, technology support, quality, platform security, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Legal, Finance, Product, Business Development, and other stakeholders to create scalable capabilities supporting Wallet, Payment and Commerce strategies.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience deploying artificial intelligence or other technology on a base platform such as Wrike or Airtable.
  • Experience managing teams of vendors.
  • Experience optimizing user experience through design thinking and user interface/user experience improvements.
  • Master of Business Administration degree or management consulting experience.

Morgan Stanley sets $360 Apple target on AI innovation and 690M upgrade opportunity

Morgan Stanley analyst Erik Woodring has maintained an overweight rating on Apple with a $360 price target, citing accelerated innovation at the company's September product event. The analyst highlighted Apple's first foldable iPhone, new A20 chips, and enhanced Siri capabilities as signs of stronger momentum under new CEO John Ternus, who recently replaced Tim Cook. Woodring noted that 57% of Apple's installed base—roughly 690 million devices—runs phones older than the iPhone 15 Pro, whilst 87% cannot handle complex Siri AI workloads. With consumers keeping iPhones for over four years, this creates significant upgrade potential. Apple recently reported strong fiscal third-quarter results with revenue of $109.4 billion, up 16% year-over-year, and earnings per share of $2.02, up 29%.

Bank of America cuts Apple price target to $370 after iPhone Duo foldable launch

Bank of America cut its Apple price target to $370 from $380 whilst maintaining a Buy rating, following the iPhone Duo launch under new CEO John Ternus. Analyst Wamsi Mohan cited lower-than-expected iPhone pricing pressuring gross margins amid elevated component costs. The iPhone Duo, Apple's first foldable phone, features a 7.6-inch inner display and 5.4-inch outer display, both supporting Dynamic Island and 120Hz ProMotion. Starting at $1,999, it launches 23 October with pre-orders opening 16 October. Mohan called the foldable the event's standout, noting its potential to reach mainstream audiences through features like dual capture in FaceTime. Citi described it as Apple's biggest new hardware category since the Watch and AirPods.

Apple Watch can record 15 seconds of conversation without both speakers' consent

Apple's new Watch Series 12 features Audio Intelligence capabilities that can record conversations without consent from all parties. The Live Rewind function captures 15 seconds of conversation and converts it to text after the wearer double-presses the Digital Crown. Whilst the watch emits an audible tone to alert nearby people, this doesn't constitute legal consent in 11 US states requiring all-party consent for recordings. The watch processes audio through its S11 chip and nearby iPhone, discarding the original recording after creating text. Siri Recap summarises conversations throughout the day without retaining audio or identifying speakers. The Electronic Frontier Foundation criticised the feature, arguing people lack practical means to consent or decline recording. EFF's Adam Schwartz warned the technology threatens conversational privacy and spontaneity, urging users to reconsider using it out of respect for others.

AT&T CEO dismisses $2K Apple iPhone Duo as 'not new', doubts foldable will break niche status

AT&T CEO John Stankey expressed scepticism about Apple's newly unveiled foldable iPhone Duo, priced at $1,999. Speaking at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia and Technology Conference, Stankey said the device is "not new", noting that Android manufacturers like Samsung and Google have sold foldables for years without broad market success. "What we've seen is that it tends to function more as a specific niche type application as opposed to [being] broadly accepted," Stankey said. He acknowledged Apple could prove him wrong but doubted it would change market dynamics significantly. IDC analyst Francisco Jeronimo estimates foldables represent only about 2.2% of global smartphone sales in 2026. Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 retails for $1,899.

Apple's foldable iPhone Duo starts at $1,999, but will shoppers actually buy it?

Apple unveiled its first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, priced from $1,999 to $3,199. The device features a 7.6-inch inner display and 5.4-inch outer screen, allowing users to run two apps simultaneously. The Duo costs $800 more than Apple's new iPhone 18 Pro. CEO John Ternus called it "the most transformational change to iPhone since the original". Whilst Samsung, Huawei, Google, and Motorola already sell foldables, these devices remain niche. IDC expects global foldable shipments to reach 22.9 million units in 2026, representing just over 2% of the smartphone market. However, analysts believe Apple's entry could shift the landscape. IDC forecasts Apple will ship over 17 million foldable iPhones by 2027, capturing roughly 40% of the global foldables market. The company's large customer base may drive broader adoption of the expensive new format.
