ICIMS launches Hiring Agent, bringing agentic AI to hiring workflows in Microsoft Teams

ICIMS, the hiring platform maker, launched the ICIMS Hiring Agent, an agentic AI tool that works inside Microsoft Teams. It flags what needs attention and lets recruiters and hiring managers review candidates, share feedback, and approve hires without leaving the app. The agent prioritises tasks and sends prompts, but people make the final call. Every action syncs with ICIMS workflows and candidate records. The launch is part of the company's Fall Release, which begins rolling out to customers on October 26. It also automates Zoom and Teams interview scheduling and sends offers through DocuSign once approved. Administrators can switch on assessment and background screening partners in a few clicks. "The best hiring decisions happen when the right people can weigh in at the right moment," said chief product officer Eric Connors.

Customers can connect them without an ICIMS integration fee. Native controls include leaked-credential blocking, hCaptcha, geoblocking, and IP controls. In 2025, ICIMS blocked more than 417,000 breached passwords. "No single tool can catch every type of candidate fraud," the company said. It plans to add partners and features.
