Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and modify Fanuc robotics system used in injection molding and downstream automation, including program changes, touch up, and recovery following faults or tooling changes.
  • Support, troubleshoot and repair molding machines, automated assembly fixtures and auxiliary equipment, performing electrical, sensor, and control adjustments to maintain quality, cycle time, and uptime.
  • Coordinate electrical and robotic support during frequent mold changeovers, including robot teaching adjustments, end of arm tooling verification, safety device checks, and automation re integration.
  • Diagnose and resolve automation related downtime using PLCs, robot HMIs, vision systems, sensors, and IO, while collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams to improve system reliability and repeatability.
  • Provide preventive/predictive maintenance services.
  • Repair electronic cards and modify electrical circuits as required for custom molding machinery.
  • Calibrate measuring and testing equipment
  • Read blueprints.
  • Have knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Document all maintenance schedules and use asset management systems for work order entry
  • Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities, make recommendations and follow-up accordingly.
  • Other duties as assigned.
