About the Job

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in partner program strategy, go-to-market operations, channel or platform strategy, or non-technical product management, ideally with exposure to information service vendor or platform partnership economics such as build-versus-integrate decisions, developer experience, and usage-based or revenue-share models.
  • Direct experience building a partner program from scratch, including writing and aligning stakeholders around a first-version strategy paper, setting foundational assumptions, and executing the launch.
  • A track record of owning the profit and loss for a long-tail channel segment, including cost to serve, unit economics by partner, cost per tier, benefit delivery and support costs, margin by tier, rebate envelopes, run-rate floors and ceilings, and anti-stack rules.
  • Experience holding profitability as adoption and scale grow, while influencing the channel’s overall profit and loss to ensure portfolio growth is economically sound.
  • Fluency in software-as-a-service commercial models, including affiliate/referral, revenue share, reseller, and margin-based models, and how each affects partner behavior and program design.
  • A demonstrated track record of building tiering, self-serve enablement, and automated benefit delivery mechanisms that grow a long tail of information service vendor partners without a linear increase in headcount.
  • Experience framing and solving an ambiguous, multi-stakeholder problem from a blank page rather than executing a pre-scoped roadmap.
  • A track record of owning a growth or acceleration metric end-to-end and achieving it.
  • Experience mobilizing Legal, Product, Enablement, and Finance to resolve a cross-functional deadlock without direct authority.
  • Experience with Salesforce, partner relationship management systems, Airtable, Asana, or Confluence is a plus.
  • Bonus: experience scaling a tiered partner program globally with regulatory compliance and revenue recognition in mind.

Responsibilities

  • Define program architecture, business rules, success metrics, and governance in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Translate platform strategy and partner insights into scalable program capabilities.
  • Develop and execute adoption strategies that drive customer growth, partner engagement, and sustained usage throughout the unified Partner Program rollout.
  • Drive adoption, growth, and scale across long-tail information service vendor partners and improve partner sentiment and experience through tiering, self-serve enablement, and automated benefit delivery.
  • Ground program decisions in direct partner input, including partner economics, feedback, and behavior.
  • Lead the strategy, design, eligibility, and operating plan for complex partner-facing initiatives, including commercial models, tiering and benefits, incentives, enablement, and support.
  • Build application programming interface access into the information service vendor program as a foundational benefit.
  • Drive end-to-end planning and rollout for new or evolving program features, partner readiness, and internal visibility, serving as a trusted adviser for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build business requirements documentation, sequencing logic, alignment, and phased rollout plans with technical and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Partner with program project managers and cross-functional teams to migrate existing partners, such as IAPP and MC Tech, into the new program structure.
  • Manage phased rollout and onboarding for new partners, aligning benefits, systems readiness, and communications.
  • Lead readiness reviews and status tracking across product, enablement, and support teams to ensure operational alignment at each rollout stage.
  • Own the end-to-end partner journey, including onboarding, activation, benefits, support, and tracking; partner with internal tooling teams, including partner relationship management and Billing, to govern workflows that provide real-time visibility and partner experiences.
  • Set the standard for partner education and engagement and work with Partner Marketing and Enablement to deliver it.
  • Serve as the central liaison across go-to-market, operations, and partner-facing teams to surface readiness gaps or adoption workflow friction; convert partner and support feedback into iteration and roadmap decisions.
  • Lead operational integration for strategic program capabilities, such as performance tracking, point systems, and benefit redemptions, and hold go-to-market, operations, and partner-facing teams accountable for closing identified gaps.
  • Define and maintain key performance indicators to evaluate program effectiveness across partner engagement, activation, tier progression, and adoption or usage.
  • Partner with Data, Analytics, and Revenue Operations to align telemetry, dashboards, and reporting pipelines with business objectives.
  • Synthesize metrics into actionable insights for program leadership and influence roadmap prioritization based on partner adoption trends.
  • Own channel unit economics and cost-to-serve models, including cost per partner, cost per tier, and benefit delivery costs, and maintain channel profitability as adoption and scale increase.
  • Shape decisions in strategic planning forums and cross-functional working groups.
  • Drive alignment across Legal, Finance, Product, Enablement, and partner-facing teams to ensure policy adherence and system integrity.
  • Lead internal change management for new program rules, lifecycle updates, or incentive frameworks.
  • Lead executive briefings, weekly and quarterly business reviews, and partner council forums, presenting adoption insights and partner sentiment signals.
  • Own the Partner Council end-to-end, including its charter, cadence, and agenda, and represent Intuit at industry events and conferences as the face of the information service vendor partner ecosystem.
