  • Foundational knowledge of high-voltage and low-voltage power receiving systems, as well as power receiving and transformation equipment.
  • Experience collaborating with installation contractors, EPCs, equipment manufacturers, electric utilities, or sales partners to develop customer proposals, conduct implementation feasibility assessments, and lead technical coordination.

  • Business-level proficiency in Japanese and conversational-level proficiency in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Sales teams, as well as partners such as auto-leasing companies and automotive dealers, to develop sales strategies and go-to-market initiatives for solutions integrating EV chargers, V2X technologies (V2H/V2B/V2G), photovoltaic systems, and energy management systems; lead customer proposals, technical presentations, and sales engagement support.

  • Experience with requirements definition, user testing, collaboration with development teams, or implementation support for B2B SaaS products, site-survey applications, cost-estimation tools, drawing or configuration tools, or workflow automation tools for the construction, electrical infrastructure, or energy industries.
  • Foundational knowledge of energy-management protocols and smart charging, including OCPP, Modbus, ECHONET Lite, OpenADR, and EMS-based peak-cutting and peak-shifting controls.

  • Foundational knowledge of utility grid-interconnection and power-service consultation processes, as well as applicable regulations and standards, including Japan’s Electricity Business Act, technical standards for electrical installations, the Fire Service Act, and local fire-prevention ordinances.
  • Experience conducting or supporting site surveys, verifying installation conditions, defining installation requirements, or reviewing these activities for electrical or energy infrastructure projects.
