Requirements

  • Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old.

Responsibilities

  • Scoop ice cream attractively and to Swensen's operating standards to satisfy customers.
  • Maintain the ice cream storage cabinet in working order and check that its temperature meets standards.
  • Monitor ice cream quality by checking its temperature with a thermometer.
  • Keep all work equipment and tools clean and ready for use, and clean them hygienically.
  • Keep the work area clean and free of foreign objects and insects.
  • Use ice cream containers correctly according to standards.
  • Scoop ice cream in the standard portion size specified in the product manual.
  • Maintain beverage quality to standards and ensure beverages are sufficiently stocked during sales.
  • Arrange ice cream according to the flavor layout plan.
  • Arrange ice cream cakes according to the display-case layout plan.
  • Take orders and prepare products to standards for dine-in and takeaway customers.
  • Coordinate with ice cream decorators and cashiers so customers receive ice cream to standards.
  • Maintain personal clothing, cleanliness, and hygiene according to company standards.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and hygiene according to company standards.
  • Follow organizational safety standards and rules.
  • Follow organizational disciplinary rules and supervisors' instructions.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the shift manager.
  • Perform other tasks assigned and listed in the daily work schedule.

Desired Qualifications

  • Restaurant service experience will be given special consideration.
