Responsibilities
  • Develop and expand relationships with top-tier private equity clients, portfolio companies, and advisors to drive business growth.
  • Scope engagements by understanding client needs and bringing diverse technical capabilities to drive tangible outcomes and solve problems.
  • Lead client-facing project teams and deliver projects on time and on budget, including accountability for internal budgeting, scheduling, and resource utilization.
  • Participate in and drive company-wide strategy and vision discussions.
  • Lead designated product or practice areas, set roadmaps and plans, and contribute to evolving templates and artifacts.
  • Onboard and sponsor new practitioners, interview practitioner candidates, and help make engagement determinations.
  • Approve statements of work, budgets, and timesheets for accuracy and reasonableness.
  • Serve as project lead or second on engagements as needed.
  • Participate in sales calls and statement-of-work writing as needed.
  • Shape and create opportunities by proactively developing growth within greenfield and underpenetrated relationships.
  • Manage client relationships to ensure clients benefit from the firm's comprehensive services while balancing commercial acumen with a partner mindset.
  • Develop relationships with adjacent providers, including banking, legal, and quality-of-earnings providers, to increase awareness of the firm's services.
  • Frame compelling engagements through client understanding and technical competency.
  • Develop technical insights, convey their strategic impact to businesses for partner-, C-suite-, and board-level audiences, and manage projects.

Leonard Green's Sage Fund leads Crosslake continuation vehicle with Falfurrias remaining investor

Crosslake, a technology advisory firm serving private equity investors, has closed a single-asset continuation vehicle led by Leonard Green & Partners' Sage Fund. The transaction was initiated by existing sponsor Falfurrias Management Partners, which remains a significant investor. The deal provides liquidity to certain existing investors whilst enabling Crosslake's management team to continue executing growth initiatives. The transaction includes additional capital to support future acquisitions and platform investment. Terms were not disclosed. Founded in 2010, Crosslake combines practitioner expertise with proprietary data and tools to support private equity firms across the investment lifecycle. Under Falfurrias' ownership, the company expanded its advisory capabilities, with value creation practices now representing approximately half of its work. Barr Blanton will assume the role of Chairman and CEO.
