Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience within the SaaS or technology ecosystem, including at least 3 years of partnerships experience.
  • Experience working at or with AWS on strategic projects.
  • Experience managing a Strategic Collaboration Agreement or comparable multi-year commercial commitment, including milestone delivery and joint investment frameworks.
  • Experience taking strategic projects from ideation through execution.
  • An established network within the AWS community.
  • Deep familiarity with AWS, including its go-to-market organization, partner programs, AWS Partner Network, ISV Accelerate, Marketplace, and how enterprise customers buy and expand on AWS.

  • Experience driving AWS Marketplace as a commercial channel, including private offers, CPPO, co-sell motions, and EDP/PPA burn-down dynamics.
  • Understanding of AWS co-sell mechanics, including ACE pipeline sharing and opportunity registration, and how to operationalize them at scale.
  • Familiarity with AWS artificial intelligence and machine learning and data services, including Bedrock, SageMaker, Redshift, S3, and zero-copy patterns, and their intersection with customer engagement.
  • Experience building joint go-to-market initiatives with AWS industry verticals and regional field teams.
  • A track record of securing executive alignment across partner and internal stakeholders, including C-suite engagement and governance model design.
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams to align integration priorities and advance a technically grounded partnership roadmap.
  • Ability to operate independently in a strategic, first-in-kind capacity and embed partnership priorities into broader company-wide go-to-market motions.

Responsibilities
  • Define and drive Braze’s global strategy for its AWS technology partnership.
  • Own the Braze–AWS Strategic Collaboration Agreement by shaping the joint partnership vision, identifying structural growth opportunities, and aligning executive stakeholders around shared commercial objectives.
  • Identify market pain points, ecosystem shifts, and structural growth opportunities within the AWS ecosystem and develop a global partnership strategy that drives pipeline, product alignment, and long-term commercial expansion.
  • Lead execution of the Strategic Collaboration Agreement through steering committees, quarterly business reviews, executive sponsorship cadences, and milestone tracking.
  • Set the two-year partnership roadmap across integration priorities, co-sell targets, Marketplace revenue, and joint artificial intelligence initiatives, and sequence the required work.
  • Lead senior executive meetings with AWS and Braze leadership to establish shared objectives, long-term commitments, and governance structures.
  • Independently set the strategic direction for the AWS partnership and leverage Braze cross-functional teams to execute consistently and accountably.
  • Collaborate with Braze and AWS product and engineering leadership to influence roadmap direction, integration development, and joint solution design.
  • Define measurable goals for partner-sourced pipeline, revenue influence, Marketplace transactions, and ecosystem expansion, and hold both sides accountable for delivery.
  • Work with Braze Sales leadership and regional partner account managers to embed the AWS partnership into active deal cycles.
  • Operationalize co-sell mechanics, including ACE pipeline sharing and opportunity registration, Marketplace private offers, and EDP burn-down positioning, to translate partnership momentum into pipeline and revenue.
  • Represent Braze as a strategic ambassador for the Braze–AWS partnership at re:Invent, AWS summits, partner advisory forums, and other internal and external settings.

Braze appoints Pearce Dolan as chief product officer, Q2 2027 results due 8 September
