Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in automation, mechanics, or electronics.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in an environment exposed to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and uncontrolled temperatures.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to stop production or prevent shipment of products that do not meet, or may not meet, quality and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance and periodic performance checks.
  • Study blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures.
  • Support environmental policies through proactive process implementation, improvement suggestions, waste reduction, and action on environmental performance results and findings.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and calibrate industrial machines.
  • Apply knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and pneumatics to maintenance work.
  • Coordinate efforts with others involved in installing or maintaining equipment or components.
  • Inspect industrial equipment components for accurate assembly and installation and for defects such as loose connections or frayed wires.
  • Maintain service records for control devices and automated equipment, repairing equipment when needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of pneumatics and mechanical assembly.
  • Robotics experience.
  • Associate degree in an engineering field such as Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Robotics Technology.
