Build a practice that helps people breathe easier and live healthier. Rochester Regional Health (RRH) is seeking a Pulmonary and Critical Care physician to join a growing, collaborative practice serving patients across the Rochester region. This role brings together outpatient pulmonary care with inpatient and intensive care responsibilities, supported by experienced colleagues and multidisciplinary teams.
Join a growing Unity Pulmonary and Sleep practice, providing outpatient pulmonary care alongside hospital and ICU rotations. The combined practice includes approximately 18 providers, including nine pulmonary physicians and two pulmonary advanced practice providers.
You’ll work with a supportive, collaborative team, engaged on-site leaders at larger locations, and staff committed to creating a welcoming experience for patients. Call and holiday coverage is shared equitably, with schedules set in advance and flexibility to exchange coverage when needed. The team values open communication and shared responsibility for reliable, compassionate care.
· A physician trained in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine who is committed to high-quality, patient-centered care.
· Fellows nearing completion of training are welcome to be considered.
· A collaborative clinician who values multidisciplinary teamwork, thoughtful communication, and continuity across outpatient and hospital settings.
· Additional knowledge of sleep medicine or experience in cardiology would complement the practice.
RRH’s purpose is to uplift humanity through care for our community. In this role, that purpose comes to life in the everyday work of listening to patients, coordinating care across settings, and helping people manage complex pulmonary and critical illness. Our vision is to become a national model of health and healing, and every clinician contributes to that work.
Rooted in our community. Serve patients across Rochester and surrounding communities through a connected regional practice.
Serve as one. Work closely with pulmonary and critical care colleagues, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, nurses, and hospital teams.
Care like family. Bring compassion, respect, and attention to the whole person into every patient interaction.
Embrace tomorrow, today. Contribute your ideas and expertise as the practice grows and continues to improve care.
At RRH, you can build meaningful relationships with patients and colleagues while practicing across a broad continuum of pulmonary and critical care. If you are interested in a supportive team, varied clinical work, and a role with room to grow, we invite you to explore this opportunity.
