- Prepare, review, and post journal entries with complete and accurate supporting documentation.
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations for United States and Canadian entities, investigating and resolving open items in a timely manner.
- Partner with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to validate vendor rebate agreements, monitor rebate performance, and ensure accurate accounting and reporting of rebate accruals and earnings.
- Assist with annual external audits and borrowing base requests, including preparing schedules and responding to inquiries.
- Analyze in-transit inventory balances, including domestic, imported, and manufactured inventory, and investigate and resolve uncleared or stale items.
- Monitor cost variances and investigate uncleared balances by location and product code.
- Support standard cost maintenance and updates in the enterprise resource planning system, including participation in the annual cost roll process.
- Perform monthly reviews of inventory reserves, including excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory; identify trends; and communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.
- Analyze and monitor Purchase Material Reserve and Purchase Price Variance activity; investigate significant fluctuations, identify root causes, and communicate findings.
- Investigate and correct accounting rule errors and mispostings in the enterprise resource planning system; partner with Information Technology and operations to implement systemic fixes.
- Manage weekly freight payment runs and monthly freight accruals; ensure accurate freight cost allocations across divisions and locations.
- Partner with Accounts Payable and Customer Service teams to monitor unbilled shipments, resolve billing delays, and minimize exposure related to unbilled customer shipments.
- Analyze and resolve accounting variances impacting freight, distribution, and logistics operations.
- Partner with Operations, Financial Planning and Analysis, Corporate Accounting, and Logistics to analyze financial results and resolve discrepancies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce close cycle timing, resolve systemic accounting issues, and improve reporting accuracy.
- Assist with special projects, ad hoc analyses, and other accounting and finance responsibilities as assigned.
- Progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environment is preferred.

The recently introduced SPF Anvil Fig. C9-CL and Gruvlok Fig. FP74CL include Sabertooth(TM) Installation Technology, which facilitates swift and precise visual and tactile installation verification. These couplings have gained both FM Approval and UL Listing, ensuring they are ready to meet industry standards. Efficient grooved fire system joint installation. The Fig. C9-CL and Fig. FP74CL couplings provide one of the most efficient methods for grooved fire system joint installation currently available. With a simple touch or brief look, installers can confirm the couplings are correctly positioned, even in challenging environments such as tight or dimly lit spaces or areas obscured by ductwork.
