Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience in a procure-to-pay environment.
  • A high degree of customer service ability.
  • Working knowledge of financial controls and varied experience in procure-to-pay areas.
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, customer-centric, and changing environment.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and recommend permanent solutions to prevent repeat issues.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain working knowledge of the industry and the NBCUniversal Accounts Payable control framework and processes.
  • Understand vendor relations, vendor master data maintenance, invoice processing, disbursements, vendor reconciliations, aged Accounts Payable items, and the Accounts Payable Help Desk.
  • Monitor service delivery with the business process outsourcer through process metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Resolve or escalate issues received through the Accounts Payable Help Desk.
  • Work with vendors, finance teams, and internal customers to resolve escalated Accounts Payable issues.
  • Provide recommendations to the Global Procure-to-Pay Global Process Owner on process improvement and technology opportunities.
  • Operationalize standardization initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and adherence to regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Support internal and external audit requests and follow-up activities.
  • Prepare and review updates to desktop procedures for new and existing processes, ensuring that NBCUniversal Accounts Payable controls are operationalized.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in the entertainment industry.
  • Certified Public Accountant or Master of Business Administration qualification.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification, such as Green Belt, Black Belt, Master Black Belt, or another equivalent.
  • Experience working with remote teams.
  • International experience.
  • Advanced customer service skills.
