Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Support compliance teams with data entry, report generation, research, and basic tax filings.
  • Complete state regulatory surplus lines tax filings accurately and on time.
  • Enter and manage client-provided information in proprietary software and state-based filing systems, including SLIP or OPTins.
  • Conduct compliance and quality reviews of documents and state procedures.
  • Run reports and reconcile filings with internal platforms and state transaction reports.
  • Assist with audits by verifying transactions and related documentation.
  • Communicate with internal teams, including underwriters and brokers, and state insurance departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance.

Larry brings more than 15 years of experience in commercial insurance, with a strong background in excess and surplus markets, commercial underwriting, risk analysis, broker relationships, and business development. Throughout his career, Larry has developed expertise across a wide range of property and casualty lines, including commercial property, workers' compensation, excess and umbrella, general liability, commercial auto, inland marine, and surety. His experience spans diverse industries and complex commercial risks, with a focus on building strong broker relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering effective insurance solutions. In his role, Larry will work closely with retail agents and carrier partners to help deliver competitive insurance solutions and support business growth.
