  • Must possess a minimum of two years of Microsoft Office suite experience and the ability to manage SharePoint and Microsoft Teams applications.

  • The ability to think critically and make decisions quickly, especially in time-sensitive situations, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the Wing/Operations Group Electronic Flight Bag program in accordance with AFGSCI 11-270 and Baseline Configuration announcements.
  • Serve as the Wing/Group Electronic Flight Bag manager and liaison with the AFGSC EFB Program Manager.
  • Maintain accurate, current EFB manager appointment letters and submit or forward them through the required workflow process.
  • Perform maintenance, upgrades, patching, and restoration functions that cannot be handled at squadron level.
  • Administer the mobile device management console, ForeFlight administration, and Exclusive Use Stand-Alone computers.
  • Coordinate with Technical Order Distribution Officers, squadron EFB managers, and Stan/Eval representatives to keep EFB publications current and standardized.
  • Update standalone computers through wireless, hard drive, or CD/DVD media and notify aircrew about publication and procedure updates.
  • Administer the EFB system using BlackBerry Unified Endpoint Management Software or a designated future mobile device management platform.
  • Configure, track, issue, reset, update, and maintain Wing-level EFB devices; manage user accounts, lost or stolen devices, and device audits.
  • Manage the ForeFlight administration account, add and delete accounts, and educate squadron-level EFB managers on worldwide FLIP configuration.
  • Manage commercial Wi-Fi services, coordinate with the internet service provider, and arrange or support connectivity repairs.
  • Establish sustainment costs and maintain inventory of EFB equipment with the Resource Advisor; report costs during annual budget processes.
  • Maintain accountability and tracking of Operations Group EFB equipment and decommission obsolete equipment through appropriate channels.
  • Distribute and inventory hardware-refresh equipment and enroll devices in the Device Enrollment Program and mobile device management software before operational use.
  • Identify, address, and elevate EFB requirements and concerns; monitor technology releases and iOS updates and develop mitigation plans for obsolescence.
  • Use Microsoft Teams and SharePoint sites to monitor announcements, maintain situational awareness, manage profiles, assign training, and liaise with the AFGSC/A3T EFB Manager.
  • Participate in future EFB capability discussions and planning, including systems integration, connectivity expansion, and sustainment forecasting.
  • Generate EFB Audit Reports and EFB Sustainment Reports as required.
  • Conduct Stan/Eval-specific administrative duties.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two years of IT experience or device management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
