- A two-year degree or related experience in electronics involving robotics or programmable logic controller machines and systems.
- Install and repair programmable logic controllers and process computers.
- Design and diagnose programmable logic controller and process computer ladder logic.
- Troubleshoot all plant equipment.
- Design, install, and generally program robotics systems and interfaces.
- Design and construct electronics monitoring systems.

- Continuously improve plant equipment to prevent downtime.
- Service engineering and production personnel requests for help with process and quality issues.
