About the Job

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Experience working in a restaurant or retail environment is preferred but not required.
  • General working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G Suite, is required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an assigned shift is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds is required.
  • Availability to work a fluid schedule during peak shifts, including first, second, and third shifts, and flexible hours that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays is required.
  • Ability to perform physical activities including standing, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, and walking is required.
  • Ability to walk several flights of stairs periodically throughout the day is required.

Responsibilities

  • Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers.
  • Receive and unpack vendor product pallets, verify physical inventory counts against purchase orders or invoices, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage inventory and re-shelve canceled orders.
  • Clean and organize the sales floor and facility.
  • Manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with first-in, first-out practices.
  • Contact customers about substituted or out-of-stock items.
  • Handle, scan, and move products safely and in an organized manner using carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment.
  • Handle products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol.
  • Work in freezer locations periodically throughout shifts.
  • Prepare quality beverages and food menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Ensure all food and beverage items packaged for delivery are accurate.
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
  • Receive and put away orders, verify invoices and expiration requirements, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain kitchen facility organization and standards so resources are accessible, while managing waste and spoilage through mindful pouring and food preparation.
  • Prepare, package, and stage or hand off orders.
