About the company

Taco Bell is a fast-food chain that specializes in Mexican-inspired meals and operates mainly in the United States with a global reach through franchised locations. Its menu includes items like tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos, often featuring limited-time offers such as the Cravings Value Menu and Nacho Fries to attract customers. The business runs both company-owned and franchised restaurants, which helps it expand quickly while keeping capital costs lower. Revenue comes from selling food and beverages in its restaurants, plus franchise fees and royalties from the franchise model. Being part of Yum! Brands (along with KFC and Pizza Hut) gives Taco Bell access to shared resources, supply chain strength, and marketing support, and the Taco Bell Foundation supports youth empowerment and education. The company aims to provide affordable, quick meals for a broad audience while growing its brand and footprint through a scalable franchise system and ongoing menu innovations.

Taco Bell debuts Double Dipping Burritos nationwide.

Taco Bell debuts Double Dipping Burritos nationwide. October 17, 2026 Taco Bell has launched snack-size Double Dipping Burritos at participating restaurants nationwide, pairing grilled fillings with a split dipping cup in a limited-time menu push. Brand Eating reports the chain is now serving the new Double Dipping Burritos at participating locations across the country, built as a pair of snack-sized burritos rather than a single oversized wrap. Each burrito comes with grilled marinated steak or slow-roasted chicken, Avocado Ranch, and a melted three-cheese blend, then gets wrapped and grilled in a flour tortilla. The hook is the dip: a split cup holding Spicy Ranch on one side and crushed seasoned tortilla chips with cheddar cheese crispies on the other. That format is pure Taco Bell, small portions, loud flavors, and a gimmick customers can hold in one hand. The company has spent years cycling limited drops to keep drive-thru lines moving and app orders fresh, and this launch fits the same pattern. Shoppers already tracking the chain's latest drops will recognize the playbook from earlier menu stunts, including when Taco Bell rolled out a pink Baja Blast tied to a celebrity collab. Prices start near six dollars, with a $9 box option. The Double Dipping Burritos are listed at $5.99, though prices can vary by market. In Los Angeles, the steak version was noted at $6.49. For customers who want more than the burritos alone, Taco Bell is also selling a $9 Discover Luxe Box. That combo includes the slow-roasted chicken Double Dipping Burritos, a Beef Chalupa Supreme, Cinnamon Twists, and a medium fountain drink. In a year when fast-food tickets keep creeping up, a clear price point and a bundled box matter more than another slogan. Families and late-night customers still count dollars at the window. Menu fights are nothing new for the brand, either, it has even faced a multimillion-dollar suit over Mexican Pizza ads and what those commercials promised. Cleveland and Charlotte saw the test runs first. Earlier this fall, Taco Bell tested a spicy version in Cleveland and a slightly different version in Charlotte at the same time. The nationwide item now in stores follows those market trials. The write-up does not spell out exactly how the Cleveland spicy build or the Charlotte variant differed from the final recipe. It also does not give a hard calendar date for the national launch or say how long the limited-time offer will stay on boards. What is clear is the distribution claim: participating locations nationwide, not a single-city stunt. That is how the chain usually graduates a test, prove it in a couple of markets, then push it wide if the orders show up. The same promotional machine has pushed softer brand moments too, from free Duo plushies for Global Taco Day to sauce collabs meant to trend for a week and vanish. Another limited drop in a long line of them. Double Dipping Burritos are snack-sized by design. Two small grilled burritos plus a two-part dip cup give customers a shareable, dunkable order without forcing a full meal commitment. Steak or chicken is the main fork in the road. Avocado Ranch and the three-cheese blend ride along either way. The crushed chips and cheese crispies in the cup add crunch that a plain side of sauce would not. None of that requires a government program or a lecture about what Americans should eat. It is a restaurant chain betting its own money that spicy ranch, grilled meat, and a novelty dip cup will sell. Fans who collect every Taco Bell side hustle already saw the brand pair with Duolingo's owl on a spicy sauce for Global Taco Day, same churn of limited hype, different wrapper. For now, the offer is simple: find a participating store, pick steak or chicken, and decide whether the $9 box is worth the extra chalupa and twists. The market, not a press release, will decide if Double Dipping Burritos earn a longer stay. When companies chase customers with better value and bolder flavor instead of waiting on Washington, the drive-thru gets the last word.

Taco Bell's Live Más Café enters new growth phase with more locations, drinks.

Taco Bell's Live Más Café enters new growth phase with more locations, drinks. Oct 15 2026 Live Más Café currently has 39 locations across Southern California, Houston, Dallas, Indiana and Las Vegas. Taco Bell is pouring more into beverages. Fueled by strong Live Más Café performance, the brand is kicking off the concept's next chapter with new sips, new markets and more ways to explore what fans want to drink next. On October 15, Taco Bell will introduce four new horchata-inspired sips at Live Más Café locations, bringing its take on the beloved flavor to three distinct formats. From the creamy, frozen Purple Horchata Chiller to the coffee-forward Chocolate Horchata Cold Brew Float, and the fruity, refreshing Strawberry and Vanilla-Spiced Horchata Refrescas, the four-drink lineup offers something for every kind of beverage craving. At the same time, Live Más Café is growing alongside its menu. Later this year, the concept will make its debut in the greater Indianapolis area, expand its Southern California footprint, and introduce a first-of-its-kind flagship in Las Vegas. The expansion marks an important next chapter for Live Más Café, which has quickly evolved from a single test location into a powerful business driver for Taco Bell. Over the past year, Café locations have delivered favorable transaction growth, showing how the concept is creating new reasons for fans to visit Taco Bell. "Our fans have always loved our beverages, and the response to Live Más Café has shown us they're craving even more," said Liz Matthews, Global Chief Food Innovation Officer at Taco Bell. "Seeing that excitement continue to grow across our Cafés tells us we're onto something special, and we're ready to take it even further with bold new drinks and more ways for fans to experience Live Más Café." Horchata, however You want it. Taking inspiration from Mexican horchata, Live Más Café is reimagining the creamy, vanilla-spiced flavor fans know and love across three distinct beverage formats, each designed to satisfy a different kind of craving. Whether fans want something frozen and indulgent, coffee-forward, or fruity and refreshing, there's a sip for that. * Purple Horchata Chiller: The head-turner of the lineup blends the creamy vanilla ice cream Chiller base with Taco Bell's horchata syrup, topped with whipped cream and a purple horchata syrup drizzle. (Small $4.19* / Medium $4.59*) * Chocolate Horchata Cold Brew Float: Coffee meets horchata meets dessert. Smooth, bold, full-bodied Cold Brew sits beneath a blended mix of the Café's signature Chiller base with its creamy, sweet, vanilla-spiced horchata syrup and churro crumbles, topped with a drizzle of rich Mexican-inspired dark chocolate syrup with warm cinnamon notes. (Small $4.79* / Medium $5.29*) * Strawberry Horchata Refresca: First previewed at Live Más LIVE 2026, this fruity remix combines a creamy and sweet, vanilla-spiced drink with hints of cinnamon, a swirl of wild strawberry syrup and mixed with pieces of real freeze-dried strawberries, served over ice. (Medium $4.19* / Large $4.59*) * Vanilla Spiced Horchata Refresca: A classic take on the signature flavor, featuring a creamy and sweet, vanilla-spiced drink with hints of cinnamon. (Medium $4.19* / Large $4.59*) But this Live Más Café debut is just the first sip. On December 10, the Strawberry Horchata Refresca, Vanilla Spiced Horchata Refresca, and a new Vanilla Spiced Horchata Freeze will join Taco Bell menus nationwide for a limited time, giving fans across the country even more ways to enjoy horchata flavors, and reinforcing Live Más Café as Taco Bell's hub for beverage innovation. More ways to Café. Live Más Café's next phase will take shape differently across markets, from bringing the concept to new fans to reimagining what the Café experience itself can be. In Las Vegas, Taco Bell is teaming up with longtime franchise partner Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG) to bring a one-of-a-kind destination to the Strip. Opening later this fall, the standalone Café will live inside a shipping container adjacent to the Las Vegas Taco Bell Cantina at 3717 S Las Vegas Blvd Ste 140-A. Beyond the concept's 20+ specialty beverages, fans can get a taste of Vegas-exclusive spiked creations like the BOOZY MOUNTAIN DEW(R) BAJA BLAST(R), Strawberry Passionfruit Refresca Rush and Cold Brew Cinnatini, plus shop exclusive Taco Bell merchandise only available at this location - making the flagship a must-visit destination for Taco Bell fans. Across the greater Indianapolis area, Live Más Café will enter the new market with three locations. Two will be company-owned, while a third will be operated by KMAC Enterprises, the latest Live Más Café franchise development partner. The first of these Live Más Cafés will celebrate its grand opening on Thursday, October 22 at 252 E State Street in West Lafayette, with additional locations in Greenfield and Muncie planned to follow before the end of 2026. Closer to home, Taco Bell will continue growing Live Más Café across Southern California through the remainder of the year. A Café will open at Century City Mall, with two additional Cafés planned for Irvine and Tustin later this year. The new Cafés build on the concept's existing Southern California footprint, giving even more fans the opportunity to make specialty beverages part of their Taco Bell routine. Sip, test, repeat. Since launching, Live Más Café has introduced almost two dozen new beverage innovations, including the You Seem Pretty Pink for a Baja Blast, which became the best-selling beverage launch in Live Más Café history. With approximately 1.3 million beverages sold to date and breakfast and afternoon emerging as the most popular dayparts, Live Más Café continues to build momentum, demonstrating the concept's ability to create new Taco Bell occasions. Each sip, test and learning is helping inform Taco Bell's broader beverage strategy as the brand works toward its goal of reaching $5 billion in beverage sales by 2030. Live Más Café gives Taco Bell a place to experiment with new flavors and formats, learn what fans crave and understand what could have potential beyond Café walls. And the experimentation isn't just staying in the U.S. As Taco Bell continues growing internationally, the brand is exploring how its beverage learnings could translate to fans around the world. Live Más Café currently has 39 locations across Southern California, Houston, Dallas, Indiana and Las Vegas. Additional opening details will be shared locally as each new Café gets ready to pour. Lettuce go to court: Rogersville couple sues Taco Bell over alleged parasite.

Lettuce go to court: Rogersville couple sues Taco Bell over alleged parasite. Posted: Oct 14, 2026 / 06:11 PM CDT Updated: Oct 14, 2026 / 06:11 PM CDT ROGERSVILLE, Mo. - One Rogersville couple's complaint about Taco Bell has gone well beyond the drive-thru - and into court. A Rogersville couple has taken the operator of a local Taco Bell to court, alleging a Crunchwrap Supreme purchased in July contained lettuce contaminated with a microscopic parasite. Dustin Reynolds and his wife, Anna Reynolds, filed the lawsuit Oct. 12 in Webster County Circuit Court against RoJo Foods LLC, which the petition identifies as the operator of the Taco Bell restaurant in Rogersville. According to the lawsuit, Dustin Reynolds visited the restaurant on July 7, 2026, and purchased a Crunchwrap Supreme. The lawsuit alleges that the meal contained shredded lettuce contaminated with Cyclospora, a microscopic parasite capable of causing severe intestinal illness. Five days later, on July 12, Reynolds allegedly began experiencing severe gastrointestinal distress and diarrhea. According to the petition, he sought medical treatment at Mercy Urgent Care in Rogersville the following day, where stool samples confirmed the presence of Cyclospora. The couple alleges the infection caused substantial discomfort, weight loss and continuing health problems. The lawsuit further claims Reynolds has incurred medical expenses, lost wages and experienced a diminished ability to work and enjoy everyday activities. The couple argues the restaurant failed to exercise reasonable care in preparing the food, specifically accusing the company of serving contaminated lettuce, failing to adequately wash it and failing to warn customers about the potential danger. The lawsuit includes three claims brought by Dustin Reynolds: negligence, breach of implied warranty of merchantability and strict products liability. His wife, Anna Reynolds, brings a fourth claim for loss of consortium, alleging her husband's injuries deprived her of his companionship and services. The couple is seeking an unspecified amount in damages, as well as court costs. Ozarks First reached out to Taco Bell for comment and has not received a response as of publication.
