This proposed titanium park in Srikakulam is expected to utilize the mineral wealth from the region and create value-added products and processes. ₹16,000 crore titanium park in Srikakulam: key project details. The Adani group has proposed to the Andhra Pradesh government about setting up a titanium park in Srikakulam with an investment of ₹16,000 crore. This titanium park in Srikakulam will involve seperation of beach-sand minerals and value-added products. Ilmenite will be the key raw material used for the production of titanium products. This project will be handled by the Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation and will focus on mineral processing. What will the titanium park manufacture? The titanium park in Srikakulam will manufacture titanium pigment worth 2 lakh tonnes per annum and titanium metal worth 10,000 tonnes per annum. The proposed titanium processing plant will have titanium slag, titanium dioxide (TiO 2), and titanium sponge as the key products. Titanium dioxide is primarily used for coating paints, coatings for plastics, cosmetic products, and sunscreen products. Meanwhile, titanium metal has various applications such as in aerospace and engineering industries. With the proposed titanium park in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh will be able to add value to the titanium products which will increase the revenue of the state. Mineral reserves and land identified for the project. The titanium park in Srikakulam will be established on the beach-sand mineral reserves in the Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam districts. The mineral reserves in the regions belong to the Adani Group company Alluvial Heavy Minerals Limited who has acquired three mineral leases from the Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation. The company has acquired a total reserve of 991 hectares of mineral reserves, out of which 910 hectares is in the Gara mandal of the Srikakulam district and 81 hectares is in the Bheemunipatnam of the Visakhapatnam district. The minerals from these reserves will be used for the production of titanium slag, titanium dioxide (TiO 2), and titanium sponge. The reserves amount to around 6.68 million tonnes of ilmenite, sufficient for the production process for around 10 years. The company has also applied for two additional mineral leases to increase the reserves for the titanium park in Srikakulam to meet the demand for 20-25 years of the project. However, these two additional mineral reserves are yet to be approved by the government. How will the titanium park benefit Srikakulam? The titanium park in Srikakulam will generate demands for residential and commercial units in the region. As per the reports, Srikakulam district has 25 large and medium-scale industries employing around 7,130 people and 1,101 small-scale industries employing around 35,316 people. The titanium park in Srikakulam will generate additional demand for medium-scale industries, transport, construction, and commercial industries. The titanium park in Srikakulam will likely impact the property market of the region. The average price of residential property in Srikakulam currently ranges from ₹5,000- 7,800 per sq.ft Another significant impact of the proposed titanium park in Srikakulam is the employment rate. The proposed titanium processing plant will generate demand for various types of jobs such as construction-related jobs, operational jobs, technical jobs, and jobs in allied industries. Real estate impact around the proposed titanium park. The proposed ₹16,000 crore titanium park could have an impact on real estate demand in Gara, Vatsavalasa, Srikakulam town, Etcherla and Bheemunipatnam, as industrial activity intensifies in the region. Gara and Vatsavalasa could see a rise in demand for residential plots and worker accommodation, with current residential land values rangging from ₹3,000 to ₹6,000 per sq. ft depending on the areas and location. In Srikakulam town, average residential property prices range between ₹5,500 to 7,800 per sq.ft. These areas could witness increased demand for rental housing, commercial establishments and supporting services, if the project takes off and creates employment. Conclusion. The proposed titanium processing plant in Srikakulam with an investment of ₹16,000 crore from the Adani group will see a rise in demand for residential and commercial property in the areas around it. This proposed project will utilize the mineral reserves of the region and will help in value-adding and processing of titanium.

Gautam Adani reflects on Bloomberg's vision for India and sustainable growth.

Gautam Adani reflects on Bloomberg's vision for India and sustainable growth. Key points. * Gautam Adani emphasizes the need for visible and invisible infrastructure for national resilience. * He advocates for clean energy that is both affordable and reliable, especially for emerging economies. * Adani highlights the importance of community-focused development, citing the Dharavi redevelopment project. * True progress requires collaboration between capital, policy, and execution in energy transition. In a recent LinkedIn post, Gautam Adani, the Chairman of the Adani Group, shared insights from his interactions with Michael Bloomberg at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum held in New Delhi. Adani expounded on the dual facets of infrastructure that nations need to thrive: visible infrastructure such as ports and green hydrogen plants, and the invisible yet critical infrastructure that encompasses trusted data and accountable governance. He pointed out the differing perspectives of emerging economies like India, which prioritize immediate access to power and industrial capacity, and mature markets, which focus on the speed of decarbonization. Adani stressed the importance of making clean energy affordable for the general populace, asserting that any transition based solely on ideology without practical viability could lead to failure. He highlighted Bloomberg's longstanding commitment to India and its development, particularly in the realms of artificial intelligence, manufacturing, and green infrastructure. In a conversation about the revitalization of Dharavi, a dense urban area in Mumbai, Adani noted that successful redevelopment must consider the community's needs and values rather than just land metrics. He emphasized the need for climate-resilient homes, modern sanitation, and sustainable livelihoods in such urban projects. Adani concluded with a call for collaboration among four essential components: patient capital, effective execution, transparent governance, and capable local leadership, noting that none can replace the other in the quest for true nation-building and sustainable development. Adani Logistics and CMA CGM flag off India's largest electric truck fleet for container movement at ICD Tumb.

Adani Logistics and CMA CGM flag off India's largest electric truck fleet for container movement at ICD Tumb. October 13, 2026 VAPI: Adani Logistics, in partnership with global shipping and logistics major CMA CGM, has flagged off India's largest electric truck fleet dedicated to container movement at the Inland Container Depot (ICD) Tumb, near Vapi, Gujarat. The initiative marks a significant milestone in the adoption of electric mobility across India's logistics sector and reinforces the industry's growing focus on sustainable cargo transportation. The deployment brings electric vehicles into the inland transportation of containerised cargo, strengthening connectivity between ports, inland container depots, warehouses and manufacturing centres. By integrating electric trucks into container logistics operations, the initiative aims to reduce carbon emissions, promote cleaner transportation and support the development of a more sustainable supply chain network. The fleet deployment reflects Adani Logistics' continued efforts to advance decarbonisation across its logistics operations. As highlighted in the company's communication, the initiative represents another step in Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited's (APSEZ) journey towards building a cleaner and more sustainable logistics network. Electric trucks are increasingly emerging as an important solution for reducing the environmental impact of road-based freight transportation. Their deployment in container movement can help lower tailpipe emissions and reduce dependence on conventional diesel-powered vehicles, particularly when supported by efficient fleet utilisation and charging infrastructure. The initiative also highlights the importance of collaboration between logistics operators and global shipping companies in accelerating the transition towards cleaner freight movement. By combining inland logistics capabilities with CMA CGM's global shipping network, the partnership aims to strengthen the integration of container transportation across the wider supply chain. The adoption of electric trucks is expected to support more sustainable first- and last-mile connectivity, enabling cargo to move more efficiently between inland facilities and gateway ports. Such integrated solutions are becoming increasingly important as Indian industry seeks to improve logistics performance while addressing environmental considerations. The deployment at ICD Tumb also reflects the broader transformation underway in India's logistics ecosystem, where technology, alternative-fuel transportation and multimodal connectivity are gaining importance. With growing emphasis on reducing logistics costs, improving operational efficiency and lowering emissions, initiatives of this nature can contribute to the development of a more resilient and environmentally responsible freight network. Through this collaboration, Adani Logistics and CMA CGM reaffirm their commitment to advancing sustainable transportation solutions and supporting the ongoing transformation of India's container logistics and supply chain infrastructure. The initiative underscores the role of industry partnerships in accelerating the adoption of cleaner mobility solutions and advancing India's transition towards a more efficient, connected and sustainable logistics ecosystem.
