Responsibilities
  • Lead the market's commercial real estate strategy and business plan.
  • Drive loan, deposit, treasury management, and fee-income growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with leading real estate developers, investors, funds, and other institutional real estate clients.
  • Partner with Capital Markets, Treasury Management, Agency Lending, Wealth Management, and other internal product groups to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Identify emerging market trends, competitive dynamics, and new business opportunities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Relationship Managers.
  • Establish performance expectations and ensure accountability for results.
  • Conduct performance reviews, career development discussions, and succession planning.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
  • Maintain strong credit quality and portfolio performance across the market.
  • Ensure appropriate loan structures, risk ratings, and underwriting standards.
  • Monitor portfolio trends, concentrations, and emerging risks.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory, compliance, audit, and operational risk requirements.

  • Strong understanding of commercial lending, credit analysis, portfolio management, and risk management.
  • Significant experience working with commercial real estate developers, investors, REITs, and institutional sponsors.
  • Demonstrated success leading high-performing sales and credit teams.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate asset classes, including multifamily, industrial, office, retail, hospitality, self-storage, and specialty property types.
  • Experience presenting credit opportunities to senior credit partners and executive leadership.
  • Strong strategic planning, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Verra Mobility has partnered with U.S. Bank to integrate toll management services into the Voyager fleet payment platform. The solution enables U.S. Bank Voyager customers to automatically pay and record tolls across participating US toll roads, aiming to simplify payments and reduce administrative burden for fleet operators. The integration leverages Verra Mobility's toll processing platform, which handles over 300 million transactions annually across 7 million fleet vehicles. Fleet managers can now access toll payment services alongside existing Voyager offerings like fuel, EV charging, and maintenance through a single bill and reporting portal. The service addresses growing complexity as toll roads expand across the United States, helping fleets manage charges and violations across multiple tolling authorities whilst maintaining compliance. The solution is now available to all U.S. Bank Voyager customers.

Stepan secures $500M five-year credit facility, up from $450M

Stepan Company has secured a new $500 million five-year credit agreement, replacing its previous $450 million facility and boosting liquidity by $50 million. The specialty chemicals maker announced the deal on 25 September 2026. The new package comprises a $350 million multicurrency revolving credit facility and a $150 million delayed draw term loan, both maturing in September 2031. An expansion option allows Stepan to increase total capacity to $750 million if needed. Interest rates are tied to the company's net leverage ratio, with spreads ranging from 1.125% to 1.625% above benchmark rates. JPMorgan Chase Bank serves as administrative agent, with Bank of America as syndication agent. The agreement includes standard financial covenants and will finance working capital, acquisitions, capital expenditure, and general corporate purposes.

The bank appointed Suzanne Widing as business banking industry specialist in 2026 and began requiring specialised training for relationship managers in 2025. The initiative targets businesses with up to $50 million in annual revenues. Services include equipment financing through Manufacturing Vendor Services, fraud prevention education, foreign exchange consulting, and enhanced SBA lending programmes with fee waivers and expanded eligibility.
