- Strong pharmacy domain background with experience across both provider and payer-side clients.
- Experience across acute care, primary care, pharmacy benefit manager, or pharmaceutical research and development data ecosystems.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform and data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.
- Experience with National Council for Prescription Drug Programs telecom standards, claims adjudication, formulary design, and benefit design logic.
- Exposure to Health Level Seven International and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources where pharmacy data touches clinical systems.
- At least 10 years of experience in pharmacy technology and prior experience holding an architect title.
- Ability to present architecture decisions directly to vice president- and chief financial officer-level stakeholders.
- Lead discovery for pharmacy data modernization initiatives, build the target-state roadmap, and develop the implementation plan for execution.
- Design end-to-end target-state architectures for core pharmacy systems and integration frameworks that support the roadmap.
- Set architecture standards for processing pharmacy and health data under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and other healthcare privacy regulations.
- Lead pharmacy data modernization transformations from discovery through roadmap and implementation in a client-facing capacity.
- Step into an existing delivery team and establish credibility with the client from day one.
