Pharmacy Domain Architect
About the job
- Strong pharmacy domain background across provider- and payer-side clients.
- Experience leading a pharmacy data modernization transformation from discovery through roadmap and implementation in a client-facing capacity.
- 10+ years of experience in pharmacy technology and a prior architect title.
- Experience across acute care, primary care, PBM, or pharmaceutical research and development data ecosystems.
- Working knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, and data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.
- Knowledge of NCPDP telecom standards, claims adjudication, formulary and benefit design logic.
- Exposure to HL7 and FHIR where pharmacy data intersects with clinical systems.
- Ability to present architecture decisions directly to VP- and CFO-level stakeholders.
- Lead discovery for pharmacy data modernization initiatives, build the target-state roadmap, and develop the implementation plan for execution.
- Design end-to-end target-state architectures for core pharmacy systems and integration frameworks that support the roadmap.
- Set architecture standards for processing pharmacy and health data under HIPAA and other healthcare privacy regulations.
- Step into an existing delivery team and establish credibility with the client from the outset.
