Lorberbaum's final industry appearance set for Edge Summit 2027. Calhoun, GA, September 18, 2026 - Mohawk Industries CEO Jeff Lorberbaum, who is retiring after 50 years in the flooring industry and 25 years leading Mohawk, will make his final official industry appearance at the company's Edge Summit 2027. Lorberbaum began his flooring career with his family's Aladdin Mills in 1976 and joined Mohawk when the company acquired Aladdin in 1994. He became Mohawk's CEO in 2001. Edge Summit 2027 will bring together Mohawk and its retail partners and will include a celebration of Lorberbaum's career and contributions to the flooring industry. Mohawk names An Nuyttens president of Flooring Rest of World segment. Calhoun, GA, September 3, 2026 - On September 1, Mohawk announced the appointment of An Nuyttens as president of its Flooring Rest of the World segment, effective mid-October. Nuyttens will join the company with more than 30 years of international leadership experience at Solvay, a global chemical company, including service in senior executive roles across Europe and the United States. Nuyttens will succeed Paul De Cock, who has led the Flooring Rest of the World segment on an interim basis in addition to his responsibilities as the Company's chief operating officer and prior to his appointment as the company's chief executive officer effective September 30. Mohawk Industries reported second-quarter results exceeding expectations, with net sales rising 6.8% year-over-year to $3 billion. Adjusted earnings per share reached $3.67, including approximately $0.63 per share from tariff refunds. Adjusted operating margin improved to 9.7%, up 170 basis points from the prior year. The company attributed gains to pricing actions, improved product mix, productivity initiatives and higher volumes, which offset inflationary pressures. Growth was reported across all three segments: Global Ceramic, Flooring North America and Flooring Rest of World. The company repurchased over 600,000 shares for approximately $60 million during the quarter.
