The Dead by Daylight Immersive Experience joins The New Immersive Van Gogh: The Next Chapter, which opened September 25. "This is the immersive gallery at its most fearless," says Corey Ross, CEO of Lighthouse Immersive, the company that created the immersive experience for the Moreno Valley Museum & ArtSpace. "Guests don't just watch the story; they have to work together to survive it, and that shared rush is something you can't get from a screen at home." "Moreno Valley is becoming a place where people come to experience something they can't find anywhere else," said Mayor Ulises Cabrera. "From Van Gogh to Dead by Daylight, this museum is giving our community and visitors from across Southern California a reason to gather."

'Dead by Daylight' "NieR:Automata Collection" Out now. This can(not) continue. 51 minutes ago Become a Member Today, developer Behaviour Interactive announced that the paid "NieR:Automata Collection" is now available in their asymmetrical 4v1 horror title 'Dead by Daylight', in collaboration with SQUARE ENIX. The fight for humanity shifts to The Fog with the arrival of this collection in Dead by Daylight, bringing three of the beloved game's most memorable characters into the hunt: 2B, A2, and Emil! Since its release in 2017(!), NieR:Automata has earned widespread acclaim for its genre-twisting gameplay, killer soundtrack, and bleak, philosophical narrative in which androids fight a seemingly endless war in a haunting post-apocalyptic world. Its poignant themes of humanity, identity, and loss have helped it stand out as one of the most distinctive games of the past decade. "I think NieR:Automata is a game that leaves its mark on anyone who plays it, and we're thrilled to welcome it into the world of Dead by Daylight," shares Dave Richard, Creative Director on Dead by Daylight. "Beyond the amazing characters and incredible visuals, there's a definite connection between the themes of our two universes, both dealing with cycles of violence and suffering. Bringing 2B, A2, and Emil into The Fog gave us a chance to help celebrate what makes NieR:Automata so special to us." While the worlds of NieR:Automata and Dead by Daylight might look very different at first glance, the characters that inhabit them share a grim common ground as they contend with unforgiving realities where suffering seems endless, escape appears impossible, and hope is in short supply. For 2B, A2, and Emil, The Entity's Realm is simply the latest nightmare in their fraught existence. The NieR:Automata Collection features 2B and A2 as Legendary Outfits for Feng Mig and Yui Kimura respectively, transforming the fan-favorite Survivors into YoRHa's battle-hardened androids as they prepare to face their new struggle. On the Killer side, The Legion gets a Very Rare Outfit inspired by Emil, bringing his unique appearance - and unsettling grin - into the Trials. Dead by Daylight is available across PC via Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch consoles - featuring full cross-save and crossplay support. The game is also available as part of Xbox Game Pass's Premium and PlayStation Plus' Extra paths. Enjoying DayOne? Dead by Daylight's creator is trading asymmetric multiplayer for a massive sci-fi shooter. Behaviour Interactive is actively developing an unannounced sci-fi first-person shooter. Recent job listings for a Montreal-based Senior Technical Animator confirm the studio is building a massive new FPS with a focus on realism. Key Takeaways * Behaviour Interactive, the studio behind Dead by Daylight, is actively developing a new AAA sci-fi first-person shooter using Unreal Engine. * Recent job listings point to a departure from asymmetrical horror, targeting a "high realism bar" featuring diverse mechanical and non-bipedal enemies. * The project is in early full production and is expected to target PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with an official reveal likely still far off. The Montreal developer best known for its asymmetrical multiplayer Dead by Daylight is quietly developing a sci-fi FPS that has a "high realism bar." According to the official Behaviour Interactive careers portal, the studio is actively building an unannounced, high-budget sci-fi first-person shooter using Unreal Engine. What do StreamGank know about Behaviour Interactive's new Sci-Fi FPS? Behaviour Interactive's new sci-fi FPS is an unannounced, AAA Unreal Engine project focused on high-fidelity graphics and diverse character animation. Montreal studio job postings confirm a departure from asymmetrical horror, targeting a heavily realistic art style and complex enemy mechanics in a brand-new science-fiction universe. The developer explicitly requests knowledge of 'Unreal Control Rig' for this position. The hiring manager requires experience creating rigs for both "bipedal and non-bipedal characters, including mechanical setups," heavily implying the game will feature diverse enemy types such as robots or mechs. These technical requirements mandate a "high realism bar." The pipeline demands suggest a dense, multi-enemy environment rather than a solitary, static horror experience. Which platforms will host the new Behaviour Interactive shooter? The new Behaviour Interactive shooter will likely launch on current-generation hardware, specifically Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Standard Unreal Engine 5 production pipelines typically target these modern systems to maximize performance and handle complex mechanical animation rigs without downgrading visual fidelity. When can StreamGank expect an official reveal? An official reveal remains firmly out of sight. The studio actively continues to build its core animation and development pipelines, indicating that the game currently sits in the early stages of full production. Players might see a cinematic teaser at major industry events like The Game Awards 2026, but a full showcase is still far off. Dead by Daylight is now testing Denuvo, but "will not include" its anti-piracy DRM. A new Dead by Daylight anti-cheat trial is testing Denuvo's protection tool, but Behaviour Interactive makes clear there will be no DRM. Ken coolly serves the hottest news stories and has played, we think, every game ever made. Published: September 3, 2026 4 hours ago Dead by Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive has just kicked off its first trial for DBD anti-cheat. There's nothing more frustrating in multiplayer games than having your match ruined by someone who refuses to play fair, and the horror spectacular is no exception. Starting exclusively on Steam, these new anti-cheat trials are being conducted using a tool provided by Denuvo, but the developer is quick to clarify that this is completely separate from the company's anti-piracy DRM, which will not be included. "Starting today, we will be trialing Denuvo's anti-cheat solution," the Dead by Daylight team confirms. "Note that this does not and will not include anything related to DRM, as Denuvo anti-cheat is different from Denuvo anti-piracy." DRM tools, which are used to prevent unauthorized access to games through 'cracking,' are often controversial, with reports that they can have a negative impact on performance. You can read our Denuvo explainer for more detail on why some players consider it a deal-breaker. There will be no Denuvo DRM in Dead by Daylight, then. What you can expect during this ongoing trial is that you'll be prompted to install Denuvo anti-cheat when you next launch DBD. "This is required to play the game," Behaviour emphasizes. "We're continuously testing the compatibility and performance of each anti-cheat provider to ensure you have a seamless experience. Compatibility with Steam Deck and Proton has been tested and will continue to be supported." The anti-cheat trial is exclusive to Steam, though Behaviour notes "cross-play will not be impacted." It asks that players "continue to use the in-game report function as normal to report any cheaters you encounter." If you're able to provide more specific details about what you saw or suspect, whether it be wallhacks, speedhacks, teleporting players, or something else, that's even better. If you have additional thoughts, the official DBD Discord is the place to give further feedback. Once the anti-cheat trial ends, Behaviour will be automatically disabling Denuvo anti-cheat, and it will no longer run on your system. The developer also provides a detailed set of instructions if you want to make sure you remove it completely from your system after the DBD test is over. This is just the first in a series of planned tests of several different anti-cheat solutions. Behaviour Interactive plans to follow it up with several more limited-time trials of other tools, testing their efficiency at catching troublemakers along with any potential impact on performance or the user experience, to find "a solution that works best for Dead by Daylight and for you, our community."
