The partnership supports TO THE NEW's company-wide AI Adoption Accelerated Program, which is designed to build structured AI capabilities across engineering competencies and functions. The structured learning programme will be extended to its 2,200+ engineers across India, the U.S., the UAE and Australia. Building AI Skills Across Every Engineering Team Narinder Kumar, Co-founder and CEO, TO THE NEW, said, "AI adoption has to be something every employee is equipped to work through, not just a handful of specialists. It's a foundational piece of how we're preparing our teams and our clients' engagements for an AI-native way of working." The partnership aims to help employees develop practical AI skills aligned with their respective roles and areas of expertise. TO THE NEW's approach of combining enterprise-wide access with structured, role-based learning is a strong example of how organisations can turn AI adoption into sustained business impact." Gupta added that Coursera is pleased to partner with TO THE NEW as the company equips its teams with the skills required to work effectively in an AI-enabled environment. TO THE NEW employees are being onboarded to the programme in phases, with structured learning paths tailored to the practice area and requirements of each team. Coursera stock holds support as AI upskilling story grows.

Coursera stock holds support as AI upskilling story grows. TIM BOHEN - UPDATED SEP. 30, 2026, 12:32 PM ET Summarize this article Coursera Inc. stocks have been trading up by 7.92 percent amid strong enrollment growth and upbeat online-education demand outlook. Key takeaways for COUR traders. * Post-Udemy combination, Coursera previewed Project Helix, an AI-native enterprise skills platform slated for broad launch in 1H 2027. * The 2026 Global Skills Report shows rising demand for AI and human skills training, backing Coursera's AI-first strategy. * Verizon tapped Coursera alongside IBM, Google, and Microsoft for a $70M national AI education program. * A planned legal leadership transition aims to keep governance stable while Coursera scales. * COUR slipped about 3.8% on the Helix preview day, showing near-term caution despite long-term enthusiasm. Live Update At 12:32:05 EDT: On Wednesday, September 30, 2026 Coursera Inc. stock [NYSE: COUR] is trending up by 7.92%! Discover the key drivers behind this movement as well as its expert analysis in the detailed breakdown below. Quick financial overview. COUR is trading in the low-$5s, and the chart tells a story of quiet compression rather than wild momentum. Over the last couple of weeks, Coursera stock has faded from the $5.70 area to roughly $5.04, with several closes clustering between $5.00 and $5.20. For active traders, that tight range means breakouts and breakdowns can move fast once volume shows up. Intraday action backs this up. On the latest session, COUR dipped to $4.81 at the open, then ground higher into the $5.05 close. Most 5-minute candles sat in a narrow band around $5.00-$5.10. That's classic consolidation after a pullback. Fundamentally, Coursera is still a growth-stage platform. Revenue for the latest quarter came in around $298.6M, with gross margin near 55.9% - solid for a digital content and platform model. But COUR is not yet profitable: net income was about -$80.4M and operating income slightly negative, leaving profit margins in the mid-teens negative. On the balance sheet, though, Coursera holds about $871.7M in cash and no long-term debt, which gives the company room to fund AI projects and enterprise expansion without relying on heavy borrowing. For traders, that mix - strong balance sheet, negative earnings, tight price range - often sets up asymmetric moves when catalysts hit. Why traders are watching COUR's AI and enterprise push. The real story around COUR right now is strategic, not just technical. Coursera, fresh off its combination with Udemy in 2026/05, is trying to lock in a leadership role in AI-era upskilling. The centerpiece is Project Helix, an AI-native, unified skills platform aimed squarely at enterprise customers. Helix is designed to connect skills discovery, personalized learning, and verified capability in one loop, with broad availability targeted for 1H 2027. That 2027 date matters. Traders hate waiting, and the market showed it when COUR traded down about 3.8% on the Helix preview day. The long runway introduces execution risk, heavy build-out costs, and uncertainty around enterprise adoption. Short-term, that kind of overhang can cap rallies and keep Coursera stock drifting. But the demand backdrop looks aligned with the plan. Coursera's 2026 Global Skills Report and its AI-Human Skills Synergy Index point to strong U.S. demand for AI skills, human skills, and new categories like AI security and agentic workflow courses. Employers are leaning harder on AI-related micro-credentials, which is exactly the lane COUR wants to own. When the end market lines up with the product roadmap, traders should pay attention. Partnership headlines add more fuel. Verizon's $70M national AI education program will use training content from IBM, Google (Alphabet), Microsoft, and Coursera. Getting mentioned in the same breath as those mega-caps is serious brand validation for COUR, especially on the enterprise and B2B side. Add in a planned legal leadership transition - Tom Savage stepping in as Chief Legal Officer while Alan Cardenas stays on as General Counsel through 2026 - and governance looks steady rather than chaotic. A recent Form 3 filing also shows normal insider or significant holder reporting, one more sign this is a maturing public company rather than a spray-and-pray growth story. Conclusion. For active traders, COUR sits at the crossroads of narrative and numbers. The chart shows consolidation around $5, a spot where bounces and breakdowns often start. The fundamentals show a company with roughly $298.6M in quarterly revenue, high gross margins, but continuing losses as it reinvests in growth. The balance sheet - nearly $874M in cash and no long-term debt - gives Coursera the fuel to chase its AI roadmap without running to the credit markets. On the narrative side, the combination with Udemy, the preview of Project Helix, and the Verizon partnership all push Coursera deeper into the role of "infrastructure for AI-era skills." The 2026 Global Skills Report suggests that demand for AI and human skills training is not a fad. It's a structural shift. That's the kind of long-tail theme momentum traders love, even when the stock chops sideways in the short term. Still, price action rules. COUR sold off on the Helix news and has yet to reclaim the prior highs. That tells you the market wants proof, not just promises. As Tim Sykes likes to say, "The market doesn't care about your opinions, only price action and catalysts." And as Tim Bohen, lead trainer with StocksToTrade says, "If you're still guessing at the end of your analysis, it's probably not a trade worth taking." For Coursera stock, the next legs of that story will likely come from concrete Helix milestones, new enterprise deals, and signs the heavy spending is turning into sustainable, scalable growth. Until then, disciplined traders will study the range, respect risk, and let the chart confirm the story - not the other way around. This is stock news, not investment advice. StocksToTrade News delivers real-time stock market updates tailored to highlight the key catalysts driving short-term price movements. Its coverage is designed for active traders and investors who thrive in fast-moving markets, with a focus on volatile sectors like penny stocks, AI stocks, Robinhood stocks and other momentum plays. From earnings reports and FDA approvals to mergers, new contracts, and unusual trading volume, StocksToTrade, Inc. break down the events that can spark significant price action. Looking to level up your trading game? Explore StocksToTrade, the ultimate platform for traders. With powerful tools designed for swing and day trading, integrated news scanning, and even social media monitoring, StocksToTrade keeps you one step ahead. Once your watchlist is set, take the next step and trade with confidence using StocksToTrade's robust platform. Don't miss out - grab your 14-day trial for just $7 and experience the edge you need to thrive in today's fast-paced markets. This trader loses 1 out of every 4 trades. On purpose. Most trading gurus claim they never lose. Tim Sykes says his win rate runs around 74%, meaning roughly a quarter of his trades lose money, and he's fine saying so on camera. The math still works because his winners are built to run far bigger than his losers. He explains the exact setup behind that asymmetry in a short video.

Land of Startups: what ICTWeek Uzbekistan revealed about Central Asia's tech rise.

Land of Startups: what ICTWeek Uzbekistan revealed about Central Asia's tech rise. FinanceWire Sep. 29, 2026, 11:04 AM Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan, September 29th, 2026, FinanceWire Why tech giants like Amazon, Apple, NVIDIA, Meta, Oracle, Coursera, Huawei, ZTE, and Alibaba are entering the Uzbek digital market and showcasing themselves at the region's biggest tech event - ICTWeek Uzbekistan 2026. UZBEKISTAN, September 29, 2026 (EZ Newswire) - This year, ICTWeek Uzbekistan, under the theme "Land of Startups," brought together more than 30,000 visitors, thousands of startups, hundreds of VCs and investors, and more than 3,000 international guests, including speakers, experts, and partners. During the event, the government presented data showing a startup ecosystem worth $4.3 billion, 300,000 IT specialists, and an incentive regime built to attract foreign founders and funds. The Ministry of Digital Technologies opened its pitch with this valuation. According to dealroom.co data presented by the ministry, the ecosystem was worth just $790 million in 2022. The same source ranks Uzbekistan No. 1 in the world for growth in venture capital investment, with an increase of 544.5%. Most U.S. investors have paid little attention to Central Asia. The ministry's message to them was direct: a country of 39.5 million people has built the perfect infrastructure for venture capital. A Valuation Curve Investors Can Read The growth has been steady, not a one-year spike. Dealroom.co puts the ecosystem at $1.2 billion in 2023, $1.7 billion in 2024, and $3.9 billion in 2025. Uzbek startups have raised more than $400 million since 2020. More than 20 venture funds now operate in the country, with over $200 million in combined capital. Two companies reached unicorn status in the past two years, according to the ministry's dealroom.co figures: Uzum and TBC Bank. Their success shows investors that startups in this market can reach scale. Independent rankings reflect this too. StartupBlink's Global Startup Ecosystem Index Report moved Uzbekistan from 115th place in 2022 to 79th in 2026, a 36-place gain. It also called Uzbekistan the world's fastest-growing startup ecosystem and the No. 1 startup hub in Central Asia, and named it Country of the Year. Startup Genome separately named Tashkent the Startup Capital of Central Asia for 2026. At the city level, StartupBlink ranks Tashkent 229th worldwide, ahead of Almaty (291st) and Astana (332nd) in neighboring Kazakhstan. Samarkand (814th) and Fergana (863rd) also make the global list, which suggests activity is spreading beyond the capital. Where the Deals Are Startup Genome names three sectors driving Tashkent's ecosystem: fintech and e-commerce, artificial intelligence and logistics, and education technology. U.S. funds already know these categories well, so newcomers face a shorter learning curve. Top accelerators are feeding the pipeline. According to the ministry, two Uzbek startups have gone through Y Combinator, more than 100 through Plug and Play, 10 through Alchemist, and five through 500 Global. Foreign investors can therefore start with companies that have already been vetted by an outside program. The state is also funding the earliest stage. A $50 million Digital Startups program supports new ventures. Three national competitions offer $11 million in combined prizes across 110 winners: the President Tech Award ($5 million), the President AI Award ($1 million) and Land of Startups ($5 million). The next major project is the Future Technologies Valley, a $200 million initiative developed with the Asian Development Bank. It aims to produce 500 new startups with a combined valuation of $100 million. The valley will have computing power of 200 GPUs, six laboratories, and 3,000 high-tech jobs. Talent and Compute at Scale A fast-growing workforce sits behind the deal flow. Uzbekistan now has 300,000 IT specialists, up from 64,300 in 2017. University enrollment rose from 297,700 students to 1.9 million over the same period. National training programs are adding more. One Million Uzbek Coders, a government initiative that teaches programming skills, has reached 1.7 million young people. The Five Million AI Leaders program has covered 1.3 million. Uzbekistan ranked first in Coursera's Global Skills Report 2024 and received an Outstanding Achievement Award in 2025. At the 2026 International Olympiad in Informatics, hosted in Tashkent, the national team won one silver and three bronze medals. The compute is arriving too. The first NVIDIA B200-based supercomputer went live in July 2025 with 64 petaflops (FP4). A much larger system is coming online in two phases: the first (2,304 petaflops) launched in March 2026, and the second (4,608 petaflops) is due in December 2026. Twenty universities now host AI laboratories. Green AI data center projects involving DATAVOLT and LinkWise are valued at $7 billion. On the Oxford Insights Government AI Readiness Index, Uzbekistan climbed 25 places, from 87th to 62nd. The Pitch to American Capital For U.S. investors, the most telling figure may be where Uzbek tech revenue already goes. North America buys 54% of the exports from the companies IT Park companies - the government-backed technology park whose resident companies receive the country's tech incentives. Resident companies' exports grew from $600,000 in 2017 to more than $1.1 billion. IT Park now has more than 4,000 resident companies, up from 147 in 2017. Foreign firms account for more than 1,170 of them; in 2017 there were four. Residents employ more than 56,000 people, and IT Park runs international offices in the U.S., Germany, South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and China. The incentive package is aimed squarely at foreign founders. Residents pay zero percent in taxes. The IT Visa, a residence permit for tech professionals, is valid for up to three years. The "Zero Risk" program offers free office space for the same period, equipment, and compensation of up to 15% of salaries. Enterprise Uzbekistan adds legal safeguards Western investors will recognize: a framework based on English common law, investment protection, free movement of capital, and a regulatory sandbox. Investors and founders can explore IT Park residency, the IT Visa, and the Digital Startups program directly through IT Park Uzbekistan. In just a few years, Uzbekistan has grown from a relatively small startup ecosystem into a market that is increasingly visible on the global tech map. Rising investment has gone hand in hand with the growth of venture funds, international accelerator programs, IT education, and computing infrastructure. ICTWeek Uzbekistan 2026 showed that the country's next stage will depend less on the number of new startups and more on their ability to expand into international markets and attract global capital. Uzbekistan now has more than 2,000 active startups, and the number keeps growing. Their profiles are available at startupbase.uz/en. Media Contact [email protected] Sponsored Financial Content
