About the Company

START Center for Cancer Research

Phase 1 cancer trials with genomic profiling

START Center for Cancer Research runs Phase 1 clinical trials for novel anti-cancer therapies through a network of research sites in the United States, Spain, Portugal, and Ireland. It connects patients with early-stage trials, supported by genetic tumor profiling, multi-disciplinary care, and state-of-the-art treatment technology, to test new drugs before they reach broader use. The center distinguishes itself by its large, community-based trial network with 40+ principal investigators and a track record of conducting over 1,500 early-phase trials, including 50 therapies that later gained FDA/EMA approval. Its goal is to speed the translation of clinical research into available treatments and to expand access to innovative options for patients and physicians worldwide.
