About the company

Taco Bell is a fast-food chain that specializes in Mexican-inspired meals and operates mainly in the United States with a global reach through franchised locations. Its menu includes items like tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos, often featuring limited-time offers such as the Cravings Value Menu and Nacho Fries to attract customers. The business runs both company-owned and franchised restaurants, which helps it expand quickly while keeping capital costs lower. Revenue comes from selling food and beverages in its restaurants, plus franchise fees and royalties from the franchise model. Being part of Yum! Brands (along with KFC and Pizza Hut) gives Taco Bell access to shared resources, supply chain strength, and marketing support, and the Taco Bell Foundation supports youth empowerment and education. The company aims to provide affordable, quick meals for a broad audience while growing its brand and footprint through a scalable franchise system and ongoing menu innovations.

PepsiCo extends Taco Bell drinks deal to 2036 after losing KFC to Coca-Cola

PepsiCo has signed an 11-year extension of its partnership with Taco Bell, keeping it the exclusive soda and drink supplier through 2036. The company did not disclose financial terms. The deal covers all US Taco Bell, Taco Bell Cantina, and Live Más Cafe outlets, plus Taco Bells in Canada, the UK, Ireland, and Thailand. Drinks such as Pepsi, Mountain Dew, and Mountain Dew Baja Blast stay on the menu. PepsiCo says Baja Blast, co-developed with Taco Bell, is now a billion-dollar brand. The renewal follows KFC's decision last week to switch its beverage supplier to Coca-Cola from the start of next year. Both chains belong to Yum! Brands, which was spun off from PepsiCo in 1997.

Taco Bell is testing new Baja Sauce and Chicken in just one city.

Taco Bell is testing new Baja Sauce and Chicken in just one city. It's no secret that Taco Bell is always soft launching (well, technically testing) new products to see just how interested diners might be in seeing the restaurant chain's menu grow. Some are huge hits or great values - just look at the Chicken Crunchadillas or the snacking-ready Double Dipping Burritos, for example - while others are short-lived attempts at making classics feel fresh again. And if you're lucky enough to live in one of Taco Bell's test markets, sometimes you can sample what might be hitting restaurants next. Right now, for example, Taco Bell is testing a brand-new Baja Sauce and a take on Baja Chicken. But these new items are only appearing on the menu in one specific city. You'll need to head to Sacramento to try Taco Bell's latest items. If you live in Sacramento, California, Sporked has got good news: Your Taco Bell just might be one of the very first to see the new Baja Sauce and Chicken. Sporked found out that Taco Bell is testing a mix of different Baja items in the Sacramento area. This new Baja Chicken menu features items like Crispy Chicken, slow-roasted chicken, and sides like creamy Baja Sauce, and crunchy and spicy Baja Slaw (which is made with purple cabbage, cilantro, and a poblano-based Baja-style dressing). Many of the new Baja items also come topped with shredded cheddar cheese and pico de gallo. The items available to taste-test do vary from location to location, but if you stop into one of Sacramento's Taco Bell restaurants, you might find the following on the menu: * Baja Crispy Chicken Soft Tacos * Cantina Baja Chicken Soft Tacos * Baja Crispy Chicken Burritos * Cantina Baja Chicken Burritos * Cantina Baja Crispy Chicken Bowls * Cantina Baja Slow-Roasted Chicken Bowls But that's not all Taco Bell is testing right now. Sacramento-area locations are also testing several different deals on these brand-new food items. Most locations are currently offering just one new deal, but there are a few being trialed with customers. So, you just might be able to save and try an entirely new combo meal. Here's what's been spotted at test locations: * $9 Discovery Luxe Box, which includes a Baja Crispy Chicken Soft Taco, a Burrito Supreme, a Crunchy Taco, Chips, Nacho Cheese Sauce, and a medium fountain drink. * $9.99 Baja Crispy Chicken Soft Taco Combo, which includes two Baja Crispy Chicken Soft Tacos, Nacho Fries, and a large fountain drink. * 2-piece Crispy Chicken Strips priced at $3.99. Will Taco Bell's new Baja Sauce and Chicken roll out nationwide? Eager to get your hands on these new Baja Chicken dishes and the poblano-based sauce that tops the slaw? Well, you might be able to do so. The potential Taco Bell changes all depend on how well the new items are received. If you live in Sacramento, head to your local Taco Bell. Different restaurants will have different new potential menu additions available right now. Don't live in Sacramento? Well, you'll have to wait to find out just how much the public in that test market enjoys the new Baja Chicken menu. If it's a hit, Taco Bell is likely to expand the test to more cities - and ultimately, it could come to your very own hometown if it's suspected to be popular nationwide.

Taco Bell to return to Poland with new restaurant at Warsaw's Blue City.

Taco Bell to return to Poland with new restaurant at Warsaw's Blue City. 20 October 2026 Taco Bell is returning to the Polish market after an absence of more than 30 years, with a restaurant scheduled to open at Blue City shopping centre in Warsaw in December 2026. The new location will be among the chain's first restaurants in Poland following its withdrawal from the country during the 1990s. The restaurant will occupy approximately 80 sqm in the food court on the second floor of Blue City. A lease agreement has already been signed, although the financial terms have not been disclosed. The exact opening date is expected to be announced closer to December. AmRest, which is responsible for developing Taco Bell's operations in Poland, has begun recruiting employees for the Warsaw restaurant. The company operates several international restaurant brands across European markets, although it has not disclosed the number of Taco Bell locations planned for Poland or the timetable for further openings. The agreement adds another international food-service operator to Blue City's tenant mix. Restaurants and other services have become an established component of shopping centre leasing, providing additional uses alongside traditional retail. While the Warsaw opening marks Taco Bell's return to Poland, further details regarding its wider expansion plans and additional locations have not yet been confirmed.

Taco Bell debuts Double Dipping Burritos nationwide.

Taco Bell debuts Double Dipping Burritos nationwide. October 17, 2026 Taco Bell has launched snack-size Double Dipping Burritos at participating restaurants nationwide, pairing grilled fillings with a split dipping cup in a limited-time menu push. Brand Eating reports the chain is now serving the new Double Dipping Burritos at participating locations across the country, built as a pair of snack-sized burritos rather than a single oversized wrap. Each burrito comes with grilled marinated steak or slow-roasted chicken, Avocado Ranch, and a melted three-cheese blend, then gets wrapped and grilled in a flour tortilla. The hook is the dip: a split cup holding Spicy Ranch on one side and crushed seasoned tortilla chips with cheddar cheese crispies on the other. That format is pure Taco Bell, small portions, loud flavors, and a gimmick customers can hold in one hand. The company has spent years cycling limited drops to keep drive-thru lines moving and app orders fresh, and this launch fits the same pattern. Shoppers already tracking the chain's latest drops will recognize the playbook from earlier menu stunts, including when Taco Bell rolled out a pink Baja Blast tied to a celebrity collab. Prices start near six dollars, with a $9 box option. The Double Dipping Burritos are listed at $5.99, though prices can vary by market. In Los Angeles, the steak version was noted at $6.49. For customers who want more than the burritos alone, Taco Bell is also selling a $9 Discover Luxe Box. That combo includes the slow-roasted chicken Double Dipping Burritos, a Beef Chalupa Supreme, Cinnamon Twists, and a medium fountain drink. In a year when fast-food tickets keep creeping up, a clear price point and a bundled box matter more than another slogan. Families and late-night customers still count dollars at the window. Menu fights are nothing new for the brand, either, it has even faced a multimillion-dollar suit over Mexican Pizza ads and what those commercials promised. Cleveland and Charlotte saw the test runs first. Earlier this fall, Taco Bell tested a spicy version in Cleveland and a slightly different version in Charlotte at the same time. The nationwide item now in stores follows those market trials. The write-up does not spell out exactly how the Cleveland spicy build or the Charlotte variant differed from the final recipe. It also does not give a hard calendar date for the national launch or say how long the limited-time offer will stay on boards. What is clear is the distribution claim: participating locations nationwide, not a single-city stunt. That is how the chain usually graduates a test, prove it in a couple of markets, then push it wide if the orders show up. The same promotional machine has pushed softer brand moments too, from free Duo plushies for Global Taco Day to sauce collabs meant to trend for a week and vanish. Another limited drop in a long line of them. Double Dipping Burritos are snack-sized by design. Two small grilled burritos plus a two-part dip cup give customers a shareable, dunkable order without forcing a full meal commitment. Steak or chicken is the main fork in the road. Avocado Ranch and the three-cheese blend ride along either way. The crushed chips and cheese crispies in the cup add crunch that a plain side of sauce would not. None of that requires a government program or a lecture about what Americans should eat. It is a restaurant chain betting its own money that spicy ranch, grilled meat, and a novelty dip cup will sell. Fans who collect every Taco Bell side hustle already saw the brand pair with Duolingo's owl on a spicy sauce for Global Taco Day, same churn of limited hype, different wrapper. For now, the offer is simple: find a participating store, pick steak or chicken, and decide whether the $9 box is worth the extra chalupa and twists. The market, not a press release, will decide if Double Dipping Burritos earn a longer stay. When companies chase customers with better value and bolder flavor instead of waiting on Washington, the drive-thru gets the last word.

Taco Bell's Live Mas Cafe expands.

Taco Bell's Live Mas Cafe expands. Taco Bell's beverage-focused concept will open a flagship location in Las Vegas, launch in Indiana and grow in Southern California. October 15, 2026 The cafes are performing well, Taco Bell says, giving it confidence to expand as it works toward its goal of $5 billion in beverage sales by 2030. Taco Bell has mapped out the next phase of growth for its Live Mas Cafe. Later this year, the beverage-focused concept will open a flagship location in Las Vegas, launch in the greater Indianapolis area and expand its Southern California footprint. "The expansion marks an important next chapter for Live Mas Cafe, which has quickly evolved from a single test location into a powerful business driver for Taco Bell," the company says in the release. "Over the past year, Café locations have delivered favorable transaction growth, showing how the concept is creating new reasons for fans to visit Taco Bell." In Las Vegas, Taco Bell will work with longtime franchise partner Diversified Restaurant Group to bring a destination to the Strip. Opening later this fall, the standalone cafe will live inside a shipping container adjacent to the Las Vegas Taco Bell Cantina at 3717 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Ste. 140-A. The menu will include Vegas-exclusive spiked options, like Boozy Mountain Dew Baja Blast. Live Mas Cafe will enter the greater Indianapolis area with three locations. Two will be company-owned, while a third will be operated by KMAC Enterprises. The first location will celebrate its grand opening on October 22 in West Lafayette, with additional locations in Greenfield and Muncie opening by the end of the year. Taco Bell will continue growing Live Mas Cafe across Southern California through the remainder of the year. A cafe will open at Century City Mall, with two additional cafes planned for Irvine and Tustin later this year. Live Mas Cafe currently has 39 locations across Southern California, Houston, Dallas, Indiana and Las Vegas. The Ferri Group will represent TLC across the New York Metro market, MAFSI Region 3. Clamshell griddles and pickup lockers mark two key equipment additions for the new stores. - Advertisement - Top industry news. For subscriber service, email [email protected]. - Advertisement -
